"this place sure is far away, isn't it?" alley complained.

paul glanced over at her for second, making sure to keep his eyes on the road.
"we've only been driving for about 10 minutes, and we're almost there so not really." he chuckled.

alley sighs, "sorry, im just very impatient and the anticipation is getting to me."

"understandable." kyla added from the back seat. that was her way of saying she felt the same.

after a few short minutes, they finally arrived. the girls were still confused when they pulled up, as they only saw a sign that said, "richard's."

"richard's?" kylie questioned.

"oh, just wait." george smirked at her and they all started walking to the front doors.

they were met with loud music as soon as they walked in.

"how many of you are there?" the scruffy man at the counter asked paul, since he was at the front.
he turned around to count.

"six." he said, and handed the money over to the man.

they all moved forward, and that's when the girls finally figured out where they were, as they saw stickers that had the name everywhere around the place.

a roller rank. richard's roller rank to be exact.

"oh my gosh, i haven't skated in so long." alley brought up.

after everyone got their skates, they sat down to put them on.

george stood up from his spot, almost falling, "you guys almost ready?" he asked.

"just about." john mumbled.

alley finished lacing up her skates and waited for kylie and everyone else.

"lets get this party started!" ringo shouted, doing a strange dance that made every one laugh. shortly after, they all went out to the rank.

the four boys, plus kyla, decided to go off on their own, while kylie and alley skated slowly side by side.

"i can see kyla and john are getting along pretty well." alley laughed. kylie looked over to see kyla laughing hysterically over something john had said.

"yea, i knew kyla would go for one of 'em. that one being john i suppose." she chuckled.

"ya know, it sure was nice of them to let us hang out." alley mentioned.

"i agree, i would thank george though. without him, you wouldve never met little pauly over there." kylie teased the girl.
alley giggled.

they went on in silence for a moment or two before they heard someone skating behind them. it sounded like they were going pretty fast.

come to find out, it was paul.
"speak of the devil." kylie mumbled, mostly to herself.

he came up and grabbed alleys hand, his speed never changing.

"hey!" alley cried out, but laughed soon after. she turned around to give kylie a look as if to say, 'sorry.'

kylie was hoping that didnt happen because she herself, wasn't a super great skater.
