"well this 'rebel,' could sure as hell show you a better time than this." george proposed the thought to kylie.

kylie hesitated for a moment before responding back to him.

"and what could that possibly be?" the girl asked as she popped a small candy into her mouth.

"come find out." he smirked, about to stand up.

kylie grabbed a hold of george's wrist, "wait, we can't just leave if we are all hanging out." she whispered.

"come on, you can explain later." knowing kylie would have to tell alley and kyla, as they would be curious.
and with that, he took a hold of her hand and lead her out of the living room.

kyla nudged alley, getting her to notice. they gave each other a questioning look, but figured they'd find out eventually anyways.

they went out the back, which was the garage door.

"where are you taking me?" kylie chuckled.

"somewhere, i don't really know yet." he smiled.

"i don't know if youre just saying that because you genuinely don't know, or if you're trying to surprise me, which in that case, i have to tell you that im not a huge fan of surprises." she warned him.

"and what makes you dislike surprises so much?" he asked.

"i guess i just like to know what to be prepared for." she shrugged.

he slightly nodded his head, agreeing that that was a fair point.

they walked a decent distance, until george seemed to have conjured up a place to go.

kylie felt excitement and nervousness, as she had realized they were holding hands this whole time.
she didn't mind though.

"do you do this a lot?" kylie turned her head to the dark-haired boy next to her.

"what do you mean?" he asked.

"like, ditch everyone you're hanging out with to do your own thing?" she lightly laughed.

he took a moment to answer, "yea, sometimes."

"they don't mind, do they?" she questioned.

"i dont think so. i should be able to do my own thing sometimes though, right?" george said.

"yea, you seem like an adventurous type anyway. its nice." she looked down at the ground.
he smiled, noticing her shyness.

they walked for a while longer, before reaching the surprise destination.

"alright, we're here." george lifted his hand in the air, gesturing to the area around the two of them.

kylie stopped to look around. come to find out, he had taken her to a meadow-type area that was behind an old abandoned building.

"its calming out here, I like it." she fixed herself and sat down in the grass with her legs crossed.

"i come out here a lot actually, for many things too." george took a seat next to her.

"oh yea? like what?" kylie asked, playing with a piece if grass.

"things like coming out here to get some space, writing inspiration, and this." he said as he took a couple of cigarettes out of his jacket pocket.

but, as kylie looked closer, she had realized they were rolled up joints. she didn't take him as someone who smoked weed, not that she judged him for it though.

"woah there bad boy, didnt know you smoked." she sat up more in her spot.

"is that alright? I mean, we can share this if you want some but you don't seem like the type to-" he got cut off.

"you gotta lighter?" she took the joint from his fingers.

"no but, here." he lit a match and held it up to light it for her.
she took a deep inhale as he did so, telling herself to not have a cough-attack.
george was honestly surprised.

"i take back what i said about you not being the type to smoke." he chuckled, kylie passing it over to him.

he took a hit, breathing in the pure white smoke into his lungs. to kylie, it was a gorgeous sight. the sunlight lining his face, his messy hair which was caused by the wind, and the smoke going in and out of his mouth.

it didn't take long for both of them to be completely stoned, but they finished it off anyway.

"okay okay, tell me your weirdest dream. go." kylie laughed, waiting for him to tell.

"alright well," he stopped to think, "i would probably have to say it was a dream where i was drinking at a pub and the bar tender turned into this monster creature, and gave me bowls of soup instead of a drink." he went on to explain.

kylie started laughing hysterically, the image popping into her mind.

"you sure you're not smoking something other than weed?" she wiped small tears that came from her eyes.

"what about you?" he asked.

kylie thought for a moment.
"i wanna say i had a dream where i was staying at my grandmothers house and turns out it was under water, right?" she rhetorically asked. george nodded his head.
"well i look out the window and see this giant worm thing, and it came toward the house so that's when I woke up." she told.

"wow, that's more of a nightmare if you ask me." he chuckled.

kylie layed flat on her back, looking up at the summer sky. her long hair was spread out, laying delicately across the grass covered ground. she closed her eyes, letting the hot breeze consume her.

george watched, and soon followed her actions.
they were now laying side by side, enjoying everything around them.

"hey kylie?" george broke the silence.

"mhm?" she mumbled back.

"how do you like england so far?"

"its like a dream, honestly. so glad we got to meet you guys." she smiled.

"thats nice to hear. we're glad we met you three as well." he said.
there was a pause, leaving the sound of swaying trees in the background.

"thank you." kylie finally turned her head to look at george.

"for what?" he spoke ever so gently.

"for all of this." she spread her arms out, gesturing at everything. as high as he was, he knew what she meant.

she put her arms down, going back to face george.
he lightly moved a piece of hair away from her face. he examined her eyes, beginning to love the color of them. a nice mix of brown, green, and small specs of yellow. the sun hit them perfectly.
she moved in closer, feeling more comfortable.

she noticed george's eyes wandering from her eyes to her lips. both of their hearts were beating faster and faster, realizing what the next move was, until it happened.

kylies lips met with georges, and it took her by surprise by how experienced he seemed.

their lips unlocked, and the sound of their hitched breaths was all that was heard in that moment.
they opened their eyes, seeing the pink that was spread along their sunlit faces.

george pulled her in once more, not wanting this moment to end. he felt a small smile on kylies lips as they kissed.
they let go for one last time.

"thank you, for this." he whispered to her.

they both stood up, fixing themselves.

"this was uh, really nice." kylie shyly looked down, playing with her fingers.

"it was, thank you for ditching everyone to spend this time with me." he joked.

"hey, this was your idea." she laughed. they then started to make their way back.

making their way along the hot cement sidewalk, kylie slipped her hand back into georges, taking in everything that had happened.

she knew england was going to be good, but she didnt expect it to be this good.
