one

summer was finally here. it seemed that everyone's spirits were more alive when summer came around.

this summer was even more exciting for three girls in particular. they had just graduated their senior year of high school. they weren't from england in fact, they were from the united states. they basically begged their parents to let them finish their senior year in liverpool, it was basically their dream.

they all decided to walk home, considering it was the perfect weather for doing so.

"ahh!!!! we're finally out of that place!" kyla exclaimed.

"i know! i'm so relieved." alley replied, sighing.

"well, you know what that means?" kylie turned to the both of them as they walked.

kyla raised an eyebrow at her. "what?"

"celebration time! duh!" she said back, jokingly hitting kyla on the arm.

"oh my god, yes." alley chimed in.

"so i was just thinking you could just stay the night if you want and we can go out to eat or something. i know there's a little place downtown we could go to. sound alright?" kylie asked.

"that sounds great." kyla smiled, alley agreeing soon after.

they walked the rest of the way to kylie and alley's place. they were planning on leaving more towards the evening but since there was three of them, they wanted plenty of time to get themselves ready. they wanted tonight to be something special and sentimental. 

kyla was usually always on top of the latest trends that went around, so she already had a whole idea on what they all should wear.

"okay so," kyla spoke, as she set her school bag on the small loveseat next to her. "i have outfit ideas...and i promise they won't be outrageous this time." she chuckled. the two other girls doing the same.

"okay, go on?" alley said.

"so for you kylie, im thinking something sophisticated. like black and white, and maybe a belt to add a little class." she winked at her. they laugh. 

"as a matter of fact, i might have something that fits with that description." kylie smiled at the thought.

"perfect. now as for you," she said looking over to alley. she sat up to hear what kyla had to say. "i see something that's casual but not too casual, if you know what i mean. something that's comfortable but also screams 'come and get me.'" she explained.

"oh goodness, okay." alley laughed, looking a little worried.

"i know you don't have anything with you so, that means we get to pick something out for you." alley chuckled, pointing at her. kyla shook her head, agreeing to let them to do so.

alley told kylie to come into her room with her so they could pick something out for her. they wanted it to be a surprise.

after a few short minutes, they finally came out. they held the clothing items behind their back so she couldn't see until they showed her.

"alright, you ready?" alley asked the brown haired girl. she nodded her head.

alley then pulled the dress out from behind her back. it was in a bag so that it wouldn't get too wrinkled. she eventually got it fully out.

"oh my god, i love it so much!" kyla gasped. it was a short sleeved, red/orange dress that came just above the knee. it also had pockets on the side.

"oh, there's more." kylie laughed as she revealed the things she had behind her back. it was a pair of simple black heals, and a necklace with a clock charm on it.

"wow, thank you guys!" she then went into the restroom to change into the outfit.

after a moment or two, she finally came out. she looked absolutely stunning. the dress fit her perfectly and the necklace hung lower than expected, but it still looked amazing.

"that fits you so well!" kylie walked up to her and got an even better look at what she was wearing.

"i know!, i love it so much. i'm glad you guys know what i like." she giggled.

"we could say the same to you." they laughed in unison.

"alright, now it's your guys' turn. i'm excited to see what you guys are gonna pick out." kyla explained. the two girls went back to their room to see what they had.

kylie had the perfect outfit in mind, and it matched kyla's idea.

she picked out a dress that she hasn't really worn before, she thought it was perfect for tonight though. it was a black dress, with white sleeves and a white collar. the sleeves were a little long so she decided to roll them up a bit. the dress stopped at her knees, so it was the perfect length. the black part of the dress had a little shimmer to it, she thought it was gorgeous.

to top it off, she decided to wear a thin black headband. she also added a small gold belt on her waist. and to match, she wore gold colored heels. she examined herself in the mirror before walking over to alleys room and knocking on the door.

"you ready yet? we still have to do makeup." she asked. it took a minute for the girl to respond, but she did shortly after.

"u-uh yea, hold on a minute."

alley had been rummaging through her closet, making her room a mess. clothes were spread out everywhere, but it was worth finding the perfect outfit for tonight.

she was in the midst of changing when kylie knocked. she decided to wear a brown corduroy dress that had black sleeves and collar. she left her hair the way it was, as it already looked good. she put on a pair of brown colored heels, to match the brown on her dress. and to add a little spice in with it, she added a silk white glove to her left hand and grabbed a handbag.

she then walked out, kylie still standing at her door. they looked at each others outfits.

"that's such a look, wow." alley told kylie.

"thank you, thank you." she laughed.

"alright kyla, you ready?" kylie slightly shouted to the girl sitting in the living room fixing her hair.

"ouu, yes! put on a fashion show, do your catwalks!" she said, getting prepared to see them.

"you go first." kylie told alley. she quickly agreed.

she walked down the hallway, mocking a catwalk.

"you looking amazing, holy cow." kyla screeched. she got up and took the sides of the dress in her hands. "literally looks so good on you, good job!" kyla high fived the short haired girl. alley sat down, now waiting to see her reaction to kylie's outfit.

kylie casually walked out. kyla gasped.

"you're kidding." she said, just staring at the girl in front of her.

"you look like a whole model, what are you doing here!?" kyla told her.

kylie did a curtsy and laughed, as she sat down.

they then took time to do makeup. kylie was the 'makeup artist' of the three, so she did everyone's including her's. she didn't ever mind though. they all did something very light, nothing super heavy. mostly just shimmers and whatnot.

they still had an hour or two before they were going to head downtown, so they decided to just sit and talk about everything and anything until the time came.

they were excited, they were always up to meet new people and downtown was definitely the place to do that.
