Not Human

New Friend

I rush to the locker room in my human form, nothing but a bra and panties on. All the girls stare at me and back away slowly. "What happened to you?" Penny asks. I hesitate before answering, "What are you talking about?" Another girl with orange hair says, "Well, your hands turned white and you had fangs." "Well, um, you see.... Oh, yeah! Every time I go to a new school I pull a prank on people and pretend to make hairs turn white on my arms. Then I put on some fake fangs and scare you guys," I say. All the girls seem unsure about the explanation, but finally they accept that it was a 'prank'.

"Is he ok?" I ask the doctor. I'm at the hospital checking on Bradley. I could've healed him with my powers, but I couldn't think clearly. "The bite is severe, but he's on medication now so he should be fine for now," the doctor says, sighing. "I'll leave you two alone until the nurse comes back to check his blood pressure." I nod and move closer to the arm I bit. Sighing, I press my hand against the bite and squeeze. Still, the bite is still there, bloody and swollen. "Why isn't this working," I whisper. All of a sudden, Bradley starts shaking. The shaking gets rougher and rougher until he opens his eyes.

I gasp at the sight of his yellow eyes instead of brown. "What have I done, what have I done!" I scream. Bradley begins to shiver as his veins become darker and his hair turns sandy brown and not the color he dyed it: blue. His hands start sprouting out fur and he screams in agony. The nurse rushes in and asks me to leave. "I have to save him! I have to!" I yell, pushing the nurse out of the way. She hits the door and doesn't open her eyes. Bradley stops shaking, but the fur keeps growing. His teeth are now fangs, and his hands are paws. Bradley looks at me with eyes of hurt as if to say: "Why?" I quickly turn into a wolf and soothe him as his bones crack and his spine tingles.

Bradley's shirt tears off as he begins to hunch over and scream. A few seconds later, Bradley is a beautiful brown wolf. He walks around and stumbles a few times into the equipment. I nudge him and he ignores me. Whining, I block his way to the door and huff. Bradley stands there and lets out a warning growl. I sit down, not intimidated by his large figure--he may be bigger than me but he has no training whatsoever. Bradley howls and crashes through the window. I transform back into a human and let him go.

I put my shorts and tank top on and jump out the window as well. I land perfectly, and start running after Bradley. Suddenly I hear yelling and barking. I stop to sniff out where he is and spot him. I jog over to the hot dog stand and find Bradley gobbling down raw sausages. "Stop, Bradley!" I say in my lowest command voice. Bradley stops immediately and stares at me. "Calm down Bradley. Just think about turning human. You know what, follow me. We'll do this some place other than this one."

Bradley is unsure about whether to trust me or not, but he follows me into an empty park. I tell Bradley once more to think of being a human again, and slowly, he gets up from being on all fours. Finally, he speaks. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME YOU--YOU FREAK! IM A FREAK NOW JUST LIKE YOU AND ITS ALL YOUR FAULT!" I stare at him in disgust, asking him to put on some pants. I pull out his shorts. "Where's my shirt?" He asks. "It tore off when you transformed," I say. I catch myself staring at his abs. What am I doing?! I'm supposed to be arguing with him, not drooling over him! "Well I guess I'll have to be shirtless because of YOU," he snarls. I flash my eyes at him, and he backs away.

"Oh tough up Bradley. You're a wolf now; you shouldn't be afraid of me," I say, making my fangs grow out. Bradley backs away some more, but stops when he gets to the edge of the hill. "Look, I'm really pissed at you right now. How could you make me into a monster!" Bradley yells. I roll my eyes and grab his hand. "Don't touch me. I'd rather get shot than be touched by you."
