Full Moon

It's a full moon, and I don't know whether I should warn Bradley or not. Instead, I go in front of his house and howl. Bradley's mom comes out and screams. "Bradley! Stay where you are. Better yet: give it some raw meat," she yells. Bradley stops in his tracks and sniffs around. He catches my scent and smirks. "Mom, I'll go get the gun. You go upstairs." His mom agrees and quickly runs upstairs. Bradley stares at me and laughs. "What are you doing here? My mom almost had a heart attack." I whimper and walk up to him. He pets my fur, and I roll over on my back and bark.

"Shhh! My mom might be watching," Bradley says, smiling. I smile my wolf smile as he rubs my belly. After a few minutes, I roll back over and notice how dark it is. Finally, I nudge him and gesture to the moon. "What, am I supposed to transform tonight or something?" I nod my head and start running around the yard. "Alright, Jana. Calm down! Haha. Let me get undressed first," Bradley chuckles. He goes behind a tree, and I sit and wait. Finally he comes out with nothing but boxers on. I turn around and howl at the moon, and wait for Bradley to transform.

It takes a while for him to turn into a wolf because he has to concentrate. I walk around impatiently and finally, I hear bones cracking. Bradley faces towards me and growls playfully. I yip and walk over to a bush. Pawing at the bush, I find a squirrel. Bradley looks at me as if to say, "Are you going to eat that?" I nod and tear into the flesh of the squirrel. Bradley starts drooling but quickly shakes himself out of the daze.

I finish the squirrel, unsatisfied with the small snack. Since I didn't have lunch or breakfast I was starving and craving meat. I walked around the neighborhood and caught a few more squirrels and a rabbit. Bradley just watched me, disgusted by what I ate. Feeling bad, I shoved a dead squirrel in front of him. He smelled it and grunted. Bradley walked away and lay down on the grass. I roll my eyes and continue to drop squirrels in front of him. Bradley growls in annoyance. I look at him with pleading eyes, and finally he gives in and digs into the squirrel.

Bradley finishes the squirrel and stares at me, begging for more. I nod and gesture my head towards the backyard. He follows me and sniffs around for more food. I easily catch another rabbit and wait for him to catch something. After 10 minutes Bradley finally catches a baby chipmunk. I lick his face and dig in to my rabbit. Bradley quickly finishes his small chipmunk and stares at my unfinished rabbit. He goes over to it and starts eating. I lunge towards Bradley and bite his side. He yelps and growls at me.

I stomp my foot and walk away with my rabbit in my mouth. Bradley walks up to me and licks my face in apology. I accept it and trot over to the grass. As I'm just about to go to sleep, Bradley stalks me and then pounces on me playfully. I roll over onto my stomach and paw at him. He crouches down as I run around happily. Bradley follows my every move and finally pounces on my back. I fall and nip at his ear playfully.

After a few more minutes of playing, Bradley and I are tired, so we decide to sleep in the backyard of their house until sunrise.

I wake up, naked, and Bradley does as well. I roll over to the other side so Bradley will only see my butt. Finally I go over to one of the trees where I hid my clothes and get dressed. "Bradley wake up," I whisper. Bradley groans and stands up, muddy and dirty all over. I giggle and hand him his clothes. "Hurry, we'll be late for school," I say, sniffing around to make sure no one is watching or listening.

Bradley stops putting on his shirt and mumbles, "My sister is about to come out. She says that nature calms her, so I guess it's a good thing." I smirk and say, "It's not working for her." Penny comes out with bobby pins in her hair and hair rollers as well. She starts humming while...meditating. I hide behind a bush and say: "I'm your conscious. Speak to me!" Penny opens one eye but continues to hum. Bradley turns into a wolf and trots up the stairs quietly and scares Penny. She screams, takes a pan, and knocks Bradley out.
