chapter 32: More to Life

I woke up in the morning in the spare room and I'm guessing it was early because Soda Darry and Soda were all gone. I know I was supposed to be on school but I just didn't feel like going. Maybe I'll go tomorrow. I stopped in the middle of the hall and thought of my mom again and I started to cry a little. I have to stop crying all the time she would want to see me happy. And j will be happy,I will move on. When I went to living room I saw Dally sleeping on the couch and I couldn't help but jump on him to wake him up.

"WAKE UPP!!" I yelled jumping on him

He got startled and did something I never thought he would do.

"Oww" I yelled as I fell to the floor. Dally had slapped me.

"Omg Lisa I'm sorry I didn't know it was you" he said coming to me and hugging me.

"It's ok" I said hugging him back

We stayed like that for a while until I heard his stomach growl.

"haha you hungry" I asked

"you bet"

We both decided to go to the Dingo to eat breakfast. We left the house.

"Aren't you supposed to be in school" he said interlocking his hands with mine.

"Uh...ya but I didn't feel like going today, I'll go tomorrow"

"Good"

When we got there we sat down in a booth. Then the waitress came and took our orders.

"Hey what can I get y'all"

I wanted to mess with the waitress a little.

"Vous parle Française oui?(you speach French, yes)"

"What did you say" she said confused

Dally gave me a weird look.oh right I never told him I could speak French.

"Quand?"(what) I said

"What is she saying" she was talking to Dally.

"I don't know don't ask me, I found her lost on the street and thought maybe she was hungry" I smiled and him as a thanks you signal for playing along.

"Uh ok what would you like" she said asking Dally

"A burger and a coke please"

"And you...." She said referring to me

"Je Voudrais....."(I would like...) I said looking at the menu

"you know what you order for her cause I ain't gonna understand her" she said talking to Dally.

"She'll have the same" he said as the waiter left.

"Omg hahaha funny did you see the confused look on her face" I said

"Ya that was funny, what language were you speaking" he asked

"French I'm taking it in school it's second year"

"Really that's cool, bow do you say I love you."

I choked up for a bit not because I didn't know how to say it cause I did but because he was asking for that specific phrase.

"Oh um, Je t'aime"

"Wow everything sounds better in French haha"

"Ya haha"

The waiter came back with our food.

"Thanks" Dally said.

"Merci"(pretty sure you all know what that means) I said
