Chapter 23: Did I Do Wrong?

I woke with the warm sun hitting my face. I sat up and looked around in a place I didn't recognized. It was a medium sized room with a bed and a desk. I saw a motionless body on the floor next to me. I reached over to it and poked it gently. It quickly got up startled. It was Jackson.

"Ahhhh" I screamed once finding out it was Jackson.

He quickly covered my mouth.

"Lisa calm down I'm not gonna do anything to you" he said setting go

"please let me go I font wanna be here please let me go"

"You can go and I've changed Lisa I have and I still like you"

I didn't say anything I just left.

I was headed to the Curtis house I needed some comfort with what just happened with dally and Jackson. The street were empty that early in the morning. the sun was shunning bright, hitting everything in sight except for those spots shadowing from a tree. When I reached the Curtis house I opened the door and walked to Pony's and Soda's room. They were both still sleeping everything in the house was still.

"Hey Soda can I sleep here for a bit" I said moving him a little.

"Sure Lisa" he moved over making him in the middle of me and Pony.

I climbed in and out the covers over me.

"Thanks Soda" I said

Soda but his arm around my waist and I moved closer to him feeling his warmth. It felt good to be here with Soda. After looking at the ceiling for awhile I fell asleep.

Soda woke me up when he got up to get ready for work.

"Hey Soda how'd you sleep"

"Good and you"

"Divinely haha"

Soda was changing and I was just laying in bed with pony but Pony was still asleep.

"Why did you come so early in the morning"

I didn't want to tell him the Jackson part I didn't really want to tell anyone that.

"Oh um yesterday Dal got drunk and he flirted with some soc girl"

I saw the anger in Sodas eyes

"But I'm fine Soda really"

He gave me a sympathetic look and sat next to me on the bed. He took my hand and leaned in. Our lips were so close to each other. He pulled me closer and our lips met. Our kiss was interrupted by the door opening. We pulled away quickly and we went to see who it was. It was Johnny and Dally.

Dally got close to me.

"Hey Lisa" he said trying to kiss me but I moved.

"What's wrong" he asked.

"Really you're asking what's wrong after what you did yesterday"

"Lisa that was nothing that was nothing I was drunk"

"I don't care Dal I didn't like what you did and you still knew what you were doing and you didn't stop!"

"Lisa I'm sorry I..."

"Save it I don't care just leave me alone"

He stormed out of the house and slammed the door. I went to go sit on the couch. Soda came and put his arm around me.

"Its ok Lisa I'm here" he said

"Thanks I said"

I guess johnny left to Ponys room while me and dal were talking cause he came out with Pony. Darry was making breakfast and soon Steve and Two- bit came.
