Chapter 40: Fini

Dear Lisa,
  This is your dad here.

What?! My dad

I know that you and your mom left. But I'm still your dad and I still love you. Our divorce had nothing to do with you that was our choice and I guess I wrote this lettter because I still want us to keep contact so if you would write back and maybe we could visit each sometime.

Love your,
Dad.

My dad he wrote to me. He was always a good father. I know that my parents weren't right for each other but having my dad write to me meant a lot he's the only family I have left except for the gang. Ima write to him back but tomorrow,  I'm tired right now and I need to go to sleep.

I got into bed and soon enough Dally came in. He got into bed and put his hand on my waist and pulled me close and I turned around to face him.

"Hey" I said giggling.

"Hey" said said back kissing me.

I kissed back and soon we were full on making out.

"Dal I have school tomorrow I need to go to bed" I said pulling away.

"Fun killer" he said giggling and I tured around so my back was facing him. And I fell asleep.

That morning i woke up ealier that usual. I went outside to the porch to watch the sunrise. I never noticed how pretty they looked they're really something meaningful and a wonder to the sky. I went back inside and I took a shower and changed into white plan t and a blue sweater some light jeans and my white converse.

Why then the whole gang was in the kitchen eating breakfast. I sat down next to Dal and ate.

"You guys ready to go to school" I said.

Pony, Johnny and Dal nodded. And we got up and got inside Dal's car. Once we got to school the bell rang.

P.E was steady going, history was also easy going, it was going good until English came along. The teacher held me after class.

"Now Lisa you know you're failing this class right"

"Ya I know"

"You're usually a good student that's why I'll offer you extra credit"

"Really I'll do it I need all that I can get"

"Ok so you need to wrote about a theme or a personal story or anything"

"Ok then thanks" I said as I left.

We English was the only class I was failing so it was a good thing he let me do the extra credit. But I don't know what ima write it on yet.

When school was over we went walking home cause Dal had something else to do. When I got home I went up to my room and staring working on the extra credit but I couldn't think of anything at all! After about 2 hours of trying I decided I needed a break. I went downstairs and called Isela Nancy and Yisela.  When they came we all sat on the couch with the rest of the gang.

"We should do something" I said

"Like what" Isela said.

"We could go see a movie" Nancy said.

"No we do that all the time" Yisela said.

"How about we watch the sunset." Pony said.

"You would say that Pony" Steve said.

"Of course" Darry said rolling his eyes.

"Ya we should I really want you to see one Dal" Johnny said

"I dont know thats not my thing" Dal said

"Come on you big softie" Two-Bit said.

"Pwetty pwease dal" Soda said blinking his eyes fast in a "flirtatious" way.

"Shut up guys" Dal said

"Please Dal it'll be fun they're real nice to watch."

"Fine" Dal said finally giving in

"Yay ok lets all go" I said and we all got up and left.

When we got there the sun was barely setting. And we all layed down on the grass.

"Wow this is nice" Dal said.

"No funny remark Two-Bit" Steve said.

"Nope this is nice" Two-Bit said looking at the light up sky.

"Ya its breathtaking" Soda said.

"See I knew you'd like it Dal" Johnny said.

"Wow that's wonderful" Darry said

"Ya Its beautiful" Isela said

"We should see this everyday" Yisela said.

"Ya its really amazing" Nancy said.

"I knew you'd all like it" Pony said.

"Yup this is a very special moment"

Watching the sunset made me feel something magical and I'm sure everyone else felt it too, it all changed us in some way. Everyone was happy looking at the sunset. There was no better moment than now I've realized I have a wonderful life no matter what I've been through its my present and forture that matter not my bad memories of the past.I have people who care for me and I have family and friends who love me and I love them. I couldn't ask for anything better.

When we got home I knew exactly what I was gonna wrote about. I went to my room got out some paper and a pencil and wrote

When I stepped out into the bight sunlight from the darkness of my car I only had two things on my mind: the new change and new beggings....
