Chapter 35: Night Out

Uh......

"Uh sure Soda"

We both went outside and we sat on the porch. We both sat there for a bit not saying anything.

"Look Lisa..." Soda said breaking the silence.

"I know it was mean of me to say that I loved you and then kiss another girl, but I realized that you like Dal and when I saw Nancy I don't know I just..."

"Soda its ok you don't have to be sorry its fine I'm not mad at you, I'm happy for you and Nancy and for Pony and Yisela"

"Jee thanks and I'm glad you're like my kid sister now" he said hugging me.

"Ya me too" I said hugging him back.

We went inside and it was only me Pony Soda and Darry. I'm glad me and Soda worked this out. The things in my life arent so bad any more. Even Janell doesn't bother me anymore since my party. My thoughts were soon interrupted by 4 boys coming through the door laughing and yelling,  I swear sometimes those boys act more like their shoe size instead of their age.

"Hey we should do something guys" I said as Dal sits next to me and puts his arm around me.

"Like..." Dal says.

"Like a quadruple date"

"But there's only three couples here you and Dal, Pony and her girl and Soda and his girl" Steve said

"Her name is Yisela" (the I making an e sound) Pony said.

"Well not exactly....." me and Pony both look at Johnny.

"What" Johnny said shyly

"Ask Isela" me and Pony both said in unison.

"Uhhh....uhhh"

"Come Johnny get some" Two-Bit said

"Johnny come on I'll go with you come on"

"Uh-ok" he said standing up

"Ok so we'll go to her house and you'll ask her to go on a date and that me Pony and Soda will be going with our dates" I said walking down the street.

"Ok what is she says no"

"She won't trust me she likes you"

"Really you think"

"Yes soo now go we're here"

Johnny walks up the steps and knocks on the door. Isela opens the door and is surprised to see Johnny.  I'm hiding behind the post of her porch so I could heat what they're saying.

"Oh hey Johnny"

"Hey Isela, umm...I was....wondering ..maybe....if you wanted to.... go on a date with me?

"Oh yess! Johnny" she said as she gave Johnny a big hug.

"Ok well I'll pick you up at 7 we're going with Lisa Pony and Soda and their dates"

"Ok sounds great till then bye Johnny"

"Bye Isela" he said as she closed the door.

I came out from behind the post and tackled Johnny.

"See I told ya she would say yes"

"Ya she did" he said with the biggest smile I've ever seen on Johnny cade.

We got back to my house and Johnny couldn't wait to tell them.

"She said yes you guys"

"Get some Johnnycakes" Two-Bit said.

"Good job Cade" Dal said.

"Ok so do Nancy and Yisela know" I asked

"Ya they called them a minute ago" Darry said.

"Alright well ima go get ready"

I got into the shower washed my hair and everything, I wrapped myself in the towel and headed towards my room. I changed into my lether skater skirt and a dark blue long sleeve crop top and my white high top converse. I let my natural curls down and put on my black lether jacket.  I headed down stairs and a lot of wolf whistles. I took a seat next to Dal.

"You look beautiful" he said whispering in my ear. Sending shivers down my back.

"Thanks" I said kissing his cheek.

There was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it" both Soda and Pony said running to the door

"Come in girls" Soda said.

They both came in and took a seat next to their date.

"So are you guys ready to go" I asked

"Ya lets go" Pony said.

We all got in Dallys car with Dally in the drivers seat and me in the middle seat in the front and Johnny in the passenger seat and Pony Yisela and Soda and Nancy in the back. We stopped at Iselas house and she got out and she had to sit on Johnny's lap to fit. Which I thought was cute. Once we got to the dingo we sat down at a table and we all ordered our food. I could tell Johnny was nervous. The waiter came back with our orders and we started eating.

"So y'all having a good time" I asked

"I sure am" Pony said raising his hand and knocking over Yiselas drink all over her

"Ahh.." She said getting up

"Oh my gosh I'm so so sorry Yisela...ugh I'm so stupid"

"Pony its ok really its fine" she said looking deep into his eyes.

Pony seemed to relax a bit and he sst back down.

"Ok sorry again, here let me clean that" he went to get side and cleaned her chair and she sat back down.

"Thanks Pony"

The rest of the night was magical everyone having a good time with their dates, i couldn't ask for a better night. When we were done dal drove Nancy and Yisela home and Isela. Then he drove me Pony Johnny and Soda home. When we got off the car he grabbed my arm while everyone else went inside.

"I had a great time Lisa"

"So did I Dal"

He started to lean in closer and until our lips met. Our lips moved together so perfectly.  He snaked his arms around my waist and I put my arms around his neck. He statred to move his hand up and down the side of my thigh.

"Lisa time to go in" Darry yelled and I quickly pull away from Dally

"I'll see ya tomorrow bye Dal"

"Ok bye Lisa"

I went in and Darry handed me a letter.

"What's this" I asked

"I don't know it came in the mail for you"

I went to my room to read it since Johnny was downstairs watching tv with Pony. I opened the letter and it read....
