Dinner (Request)

Niall needs to chill. For real.

Niall has been stressed lately, but whenever I ask him about what's going on, he just says 'baby, I love you it's nothing' ugh! It's obviously not nothing. I don't know what to do! All I can think to do for him is be there for him.

I decided to try to talk to him. I got up from the couch and paused The Big Bang Theory then walked into the dining room where Niall was eating peanut butter sandwich and playing on his phone.

I didn't really know what to do. I feel like that first day me and Niall met, it was a warm and sunny day. I was walking over to Niall, determined to bring him into my life. But I couldn't speak, I couldn't move and everything I planned slipped away. Just like what's happening now.

"Michelle, I can feel you watching me" Niall says as he turns off his phone and looks at me.

"Oh, um c-can I sit with you" I asked awkwardly hoping he wouldn't say no

He giggled and looked directly in my eyes and said "Michelle, you can sit with me whenever you like princess! No matter what you will always have a seat right next to me, wherever we go." He then pulled out a chair and smiled at me

"Thanks ni. I love you. Can I ask you something?" I am now really nervous. I don't want him to be mad at me or say no I just want to know what's wrong with him

"Anything love." He says in a lovingly tone.

"You have been very stressed lately and I want you to know that I am here for you no matter what." I say. He gives me a panicked look

"Baby, let's go to dinner tonight. I can reserve a table for us. I want to have a night just for you and Me." he smiled at me and took my hand.

"That sounds great baby! I can't wait" he then pulled me in for a kiss. Even though this was really sweet, I was still worried about Niall.

I was putting on my dress when I noticed the time 8:15. Niall said to be ready by 8:30. I went downstairs to see niall, Ina tux with a bouquet of roses.

"Niall! You didn't have to get me flowers!" I giggles and took his hand

"Yes I do! It's the nice thing to do. You deserve flowers all of the time." His cheesiness is crazy.

"Haha okay. Thank you. So where are we going?" I said as I picked up my phone to check my twitter

"It's a fancy place that's in a boat. But don't worry, you won't get seasick. You can't even tell it's floating." he says excitedly

"That's cool. How far away is it?" I ask not looking up from my phone

"It's about a half an hour away. But it's worth it. It has a chocolate fountain!" He was jumping up and down and showing me pictures of the place on his phone.

We got in the car and drove to the restaurant. it was nice to see niall so excited.

"This way." Niall said as he took my hand and lead me through a lot of doors and hallways until we finally seen food.

It looked delicious. And expensive.

"Niall, how much is it going to cost?"

"It doesn't matter princess. It only matters that you have the best dinner of your life." He said with a loving smile. He was so sweet but I hate that he was spending money on me.

"I can pay for myself. It's okay, really" I got out my purse and got enough money for my half of dinner when I felt niall's hands on my waist.

"No, I want to pay for you. I want you to have a special night" he said into my ear.

"I love you, Niall. You know I hate when you spend money on me, but I do appreciate it. Thank you." I said and he pulled away from me and smiled

"You deserve someone who spends money on you." He says as he hands the cashier the money. "Where do you want to sit?" He asked as he looked around the room

"Umm...wherever is fine." I say

"Look over there in that booth by the window. Do you like that spot?" He points to a small booth with a beautiful view.

I nod and walk with him to the booth.

The night flies by fast, Niall and I both got chicken dinners and iced tea, we shared a few laughs. it was a great night. The waiter comes by with a beautiful red velvet cake.

"On the house." The waiter says and puts the plate and walks away.

"That was nice! This looks delicious!" I say and Niall smiles and nods.

I take the first bite and it tastes great. But it was really weird when I felt something hard. Oh my.

I realized what it was and took it out of my mouth. A ring. A RING. I look over at niall but he's not in his seat, he is beside me on one knee.

"Michelle, my beautiful princess, will you marry me?" He smiles as tears fall from my eyes. I couldn't help but cry at how beautiful this all was.

"Yes Niall. Yes." He pulls me in for a long kiss and people around us clap and cheer. But I felt like Niall and I were the only two people in the room.
