Not knowing from where to start is a hard thing.
Infront of Yoojoo was ChiYeon, waiting for what she has to say after Chanhee said she was needed in their world.
"Is there anything wrong, Head Yoonjoo?" ChiYeon asked.
"No! No. Everything's fine." Yoonjoo sighed not letting ChiYeon know. She did it the calmest she could be.
"How is being a human so far?" Yoonjoo started asking.
"It's fine, but I feel like a real human. I have no power in my possession and it feels really strange." ChiYeon answered.
"ChiYeon, you only have less than a month to live in earth." Yoonjoo finally said the words she had been meaning to say.
ChiYeon's happy expression soon turned in to disappointment. She had always knew that there will be a time that this will happen. She will be asked to go back here in her world and do what her duty was from the past few years.
"I understand. I guess I have to make the most out of it." ChiYeon forced a smile.
She looked at Yoonjoo and bid her goodbye. "I would need to return now, Head Yoonjoo. I'll be seeing you in less than a month."
ChiYeon was about to go to Chanhee and leave for awhile. But she was stopped by Yoonjoo.
"ChiYeon, listen." This made her stop from walking, but did not face Yoonjoo. "I was not going to give this opportunity to you, but I will be selfish if I do so when all the angels who visited Earth was given this."
ChiYeon didn't speak and Yoonjoo took it as a signal to continue. "I will be giving you four days. Four days to decide. Whether you would like to continue you duties or face the obstacles in being a human once again."
ChiYeon looked at her. "I was fine to resume as an angel. But thank you for giving me this chance. I will be thinking about it."
-
Every moment after that conversation felt uncomfortable for ChiYeon. She has no one at this situation. Not Chanhee, not EunChi, not MeolJi, not JeenLi. No one else but her. And that truth stabbed her with no hesitation.
"Are you alright, ChiYeon? You seem to be out of focus these past few days." Chanhee looked at her worriedly.
"I'm completely fine, Chanhee. Don't worry about me. There's just a lot of things bothering me right now and I can't think straight."
ChiYeon looked at her friend. "Chanhee,"
"Yes?"
"May I hug you? I think that could help me." ChiYeon smiled.
"Of course, you may, Kim ChiYeon."
ChiYeon then wrapped her arms to Chanhee, finally breaking down into tears. "It's alright, ChiYeon. Just cry it all out."
And ChiYeon did what her friend told her to do.
-
The last day.
The last day of confusion for ChiYeon. She almost had no sleep before reaching this day. She was still bothered of what might happen to her and to the people who are important to her.
"May I stroll around, JeenLi unnie?" ChiYeon smiled as she approached JeenLi.
"Of course, go ahead. I don't want you to be suffocated here. MeolJi's going home soon, you don't have to worry."
"Just call me if you need anything, unnie." JeenLi nodded.
"I'll be going then."
Once ChiYeon was out of the house, she was just standing in front of the door. She doesn't know where to go, who to go to and trust at this moment. One thing's for sure: She wants someone to be with her.
