A (really) short little story of how I head canon Evan and Jared meeting!

A young, blonde boy in a blue polo shirt stepped into the kindergarten classroom, looking for a place to sit down far away from everyone. Little Evan Hansen did not want to be here. Then again, neither did the slightly chubby, brunette boy with big round glasses who was crying in the corner.
Evan frowned and walked up to the boy.
"E-excuse me?" Evans timid voice rand out, startling the boy. "Are you okay? You're crying.."
The boy sniffed. He was wearing a medium colored red shirt. "They were- they were making fun of my glasses!" The brunette cried out, tears rolling down his chubby cheeks.
"Oh... Well why'd they do that? I think your glasses are cool!" "R-really?" The boy looked up, wiping away his tears. Evan nodded. "Really!"
The unnamed boy stuck out his hand. "I'm Jared! what's your name?" "Evan!"Both boys gave a wide grin.
"Lets be bestest friends forever!" And that they were.
Well, at least until high school, that is.
