The wind howled furiously, beating against the roof of the terrified girl's cabin without mercy. The angry waves beat furiously against the side of her boat, trying to push it over, trying to drown her. The lightning crackled overhead and the thunder boomed, cheering on the icy cold waves that beat so vigorously.
The white haired girl clung to the edge of her bed. It was the only thing she could hold onto in the bare room as the boat pitched up and down like a demented rollercoaster struggling to stay on its tracks. Her baby blue eyes squeezed tightly shut as she clung to the bedpost with one arm and her slick furred icy blue fox held tightly with the other. She prayed she would survive this: prayed that she could pass on her message, that the roof and walls would hold, that the furious storm would spare her, spare her Pokémon.
The boat tipped violently, making the girl's high pitched scream ring out in fear and surprise. Her chances of surviving were dwindling into single digits. This was not a natural storm after all. The very purpose of this storm was to stop her; to rid her from the very existence of this world and not a soul would know apart from him.
He was a traitor; he wanted her out of the way. He knew that no blade could pierce her pale skin. He knew that no poison or sickness could match her body's defenses. That is why he chose to get rid of her using nature itself, trapping her in a boat and sending her into sea.
No food, no water, and the most ferocious storm in existence. No one could survive under these circumstances even if the boat was built to survive somehow. No one can live without food or water forever and with only three Pokemon with her, she would never survive. The chances were simply impossible and she knew this all too well.
A small tear escaped the girl's eye. It was not death she feared. It was failure. One task, one simple task, was all she had to do: deliver one message, one simple message. Her friends would never know what became of her. They would never find her body at the bottom of the ocean. Her small fox companion looked up at her sadly. She knew she would be returned to the safety of her Pokéball before anything bad would happen to her. It was in the girl's nature to not let any harm come to her friends.
A sickening crunch broke through the howling wind and the churning sea. The terrifying sound of the stern smashing against rocks, against doom. The boat gave a lurch to the side, making the girl scream again. She struggled to return her Pokémon. One of the walls splintered open. Her end would come and she would not allow her Pokémon to suffer her fate. She would not allow him that pleasure. She knew he was watching her pain with pleasure; watching her fear with cruel happiness.
Now it was just her alone in the boat. Once again, the boat lurched to the side like the roller coaster had lost its grip and derailed from its tracks. The boat spun and tumbled in the ocean, making the girl lose her grip on the wooden bed post. She tumbled around like a rag doll in a dryer thrown to sea.
Lightning crackled once again in the sky as the side of the boat was smashed against the rocky wall, ripping it apart like wet paper. The girl tumbled into to merciless ocean and she knew no more.
Above in the sky, a line figure rode his Pokemon. He watched as the white haired girl disappeared below the surface of the raging sea.
He chuckled to himself. The girl was no more; the one who was to stop him from completing his ideals. He ordered his Pokemon to flee the storm. With the girl out of his way, who was left to stop him? No one, no one else knew of his plan. Of its purpose, he was to succeed right? With no one to face or stand against him.
Perhaps if he had stayed just a little longer to reveal in his new victory he would have seen the bright pink Pokémon appear. A bright flash illuminated her body as she created a bubble underwater to pull up the white haired girl to the surface then carry her to the safety of shore.
This was far from over.
