***I hope you all had a great easter!!****

Louis snuggled back into his covers as the doctor walked in.

"Hi, you must be Louis," she says, smiling and reaching out her arm.

Louis shakes her hand and returns the smile, "you are correct," he says.

"I've heard so much about you, you really worried your family and your girlfriend," she says gesturing to me.

"O-oh she's not my girlfriend," he tells her fumbling with his words.

"Oh I'm sorry, I just assumed she was," she apologizes.

"It's fine, don't worry about it," I assure her shooting her a smile.

"How are you feeling," she asks Louis.

"I'm feeling alright, just have a small headache," he says rubbing his temple.

"I can get you some painkillers for that," she answers.

"That would be great," Louis responds, flashing a smile.

"I'll be right back," she tells us, before spinning on her heels and leaving the room.

"She seems nice," Louis whispers breaking the silence.

She returns a few minutes later with a pill bottle and hands it to Jay.

"I just wanna do some tests to make sure all your vitals are okay, if that's fine with you," she asks Lou.

"Yeah whatever, you have to do," he replies.

She wheels a blood pressure machine into the room, I remember it from my brief stay in the hospital when I was younger. I have such a strong distaste for it to be honest. I've actually completely forgotten about them, but I didn't say anything because I didn't want to worry Louis.

She wrapped the cuff around Louis' arm. She clicked a switch and the cuff started to fill with air.

Louis looked at me with strong distaste, "I hate this," he scowled.

"It's almost done," the doctor replied.

The machine started to deflate, just as the doctor assured.

"It wasn't that bad," she said smiling at Louis, "considering all you've been through, that shouldn't be the worst thing you've encountered," she adds flashing a smile.

"True," he adds, bringing his attention to the bottom of the bed.

"I have to go to the bathroom," he quietly says.

"I'll bring in a nurse to help you," she tells him, exiting the room.

In a few minutes a nurse enters. She lowers the bars on one side of the bed, and helps Louis up.

I get up from my chair and help her steady Louis. His knees are shaky, but I see the determination in his eyes.

"Are you ready," she asks Louis once he's steady on his feet.

He nods his head looking towards the bathroom.

He takes one shaky step followed by a few more than he stops for a moment.

"Why is this so hard," he says out of breath.

"We'll work on it," the nurse assures him with a smile.

He nods his head, taking another step.

Eventually we make it to the bathroom, he successfully makes it to the toilet.
