-Christmas eve-

Christmas Eve, we usually go to my grandmas house. I know she hosts a ton of people, but I asked her if it would be okay if Louis' family joined us this year. I've kept her in the loop about Louis to a degree. I mean she was at my wedding so she knows the spiel with Jake. She honestly wasn't too fond of Jake, I don't know something about him rubbed her the wrong way.

She was quite quick responding on the Louis situation. I assured her it was okay if it was too many people. But my grandmas always been so easy-going and chill.

Not only is it Christmas Eve, it was Louis' birthday. So I secretly bought him a cake. And got him a few gifts, I hope he enjoys what I got him.

I'm quite excited for today, I think it'll be a pretty fun and exciting day. Louis still hasn't "officially" asked me out yet, but I'm sure it's safe to assume we're a thing. I think it's been long enough. We've almost known each other for a year. I can't believe how fast time has gone, my wedding felt like it was just yesterday.

I put on red pants and a white sweater accompanied with some jewelry. I'm really not a huge jewelry fan, I usually wear it on special occasions such as holidays and parties. And today is a holiday so hence the jewelry.

We were picking Louis, Jay and the rest of the family up at like 4ish, my grandma doesn't like us there too early. I understand she has a ton of setting up to do. I wouldn't want to do anything to disturb her while she prepares. I want today to be perfect or close to it. I have a good feeling about today. There's no doubt in my mind that today will go smoothly.

Louis gave me his address last night, it was about 20 minutes away from us. We were bringing two cars because honestly it's a ton of people. Jason is taking a car with my dad and other siblings. I'm shocked my grandma agreed because a lot of our family is also coming over.

We left at about 3:40ish. The car ride was pretty quiet except for the occasional input of me or my mom and the soft noise of the radio. I'm honestly not a fan of any of the music at the moment.

We arrived at the Tomlinson's residence. They actually had a really nice house. It's probably about the same size of ours, maybe a bit bigger. It was two floors like ours and seemed to have a decently sized backyard.

My mom beeped the horn a few times while I texted Louis, letting him know we were here.

In a few minutes his family came out, they squished into the back of the car.

"We should've rented a party bus," I joke observing how big his family is.

"It's fine no worries," Jay assured us, in a soft voice.

"The drives only like 20ish minutes," I tell them. I mean the time varies if there's not too much traffic.

The drive was pretty silent if you don't count the radio softly playing in the back.

In 20 minutes or so, we roll up to my grandmas. There's a few cars scattered down the block.

We all pile out of the car and to the front door. Louis intertwines his fingers with mine, giving me a small smile.

My mom reaches the door first, knocking on it. There's some fumbling around in the house before the door is opened. My grandma stands there with a red sweater. She stepped aside so we could enter, giving us all a kiss and a hug.

There was already a bunch of people in the living room. My grandpa's eyes lit up when he saw us. I bent down to give him a hug and a kiss. I love my grandparents they are literally the cutest.
