It didn't take long for the venue to fill up. I knew Fifth Star was getting more and more popular, but I was still impressed. We were downstairs, but I could here the many footsteps and muffled voices. The bar man came down holding a tray of green coloured shots.
"What can I say, boys? I'm impressed. Don't worry, these are not very strong. Just enough to calm your nerves. Just don't tell the manager." He grinned at us, a few of his yellow teeth missing. He set the tray down on the table and left. I hesitated before reaching for one of the shots. I remembered my promise to Dylan, but screw him. I was sick of him to be perfectly honest. And if this steadied my nerves like the bar man said, even better.
