I was elated. Finally, my first and only crush was all mine. We walked along the beach, chatting and laughing, as we did usually. But this time there wasn't dull thoughts at the back of my head reminding me that she was Joe's girlfriend. That, and we stopped to kiss several times, which was also pretty good, needless to say. Everything was peaceful, until Sky's phone rang. It was lucky I'd stopped her falling into the sea, then.
"Hi, Ella." Sky said into the phone.
"I think I can. So Coral's at twelve?" She asked. She said goodbye and hung up.
"Just making sure, but this date you have in mind isn't today?" Her emerald green eyes gazed up at me.
"Nope. I haven't even thought of anything." I admitted.
"Good. Well, not good, but you know what I mean. No it's just that Ella wants me to meet up to talk. We still have another hour together."
"Yeah, that's fine." Sky grinned and kissed me again.
"Ah, you're a keeper." She said proudly.
