No Accident

Second Step

The dark blue, pulls me under. I look up to the last shard of light, that ripples through the deep blue. I feel my whole body compressing and I feel myself suffocating slowly. After some time the struggle stops and I'm left sinking. No matter how many times I inhale and exhale, I know I won't be able to breath. I can no longer see the light and suddenly everything goes dark, I close my eyes and in some strange way the calm is horrible. I am holding onto myself, trying to find a way to breath. The dizziness sinks in as my heart beats faster every second. I stop with all the strength I have within me and I look up, the tears stream down my face like a river and everything around me is blurry. My whole body is shaking but slowly I feel the water leaving my body and I swim to the surface and gasp for air. I awoke into my body and waited a few moments before going into class again. The deep blue still hunts me from within, my belly all tighed in notes but I walk through the door to my class room and sit in my useral seat.
"Sorry I'm late sir."
He looked at the class,"It's okay Jess, as I was saying - we have our real exam after the Christmas holidays, you must revise, here are your sheets.
A guy sighed,"But Sir, this is too much to do over Christmas."
Sir looked at him,"Yes, this is year eleven get use to it."

"Hey Jess."
Jess smiles,"Hey Lily, Hey Aidan."
Lily smiles,"Kevin was so flirting with me today! You should have seen it."
Jess giggles,"Really is that so? Has he asked you out yet?"
Lily flips her hair,"He's probably too nervous."
Bryan coughs a few times,"Right - sure."
Jess coughs a few times back,"Totally!"
Lily looks at them,"Oh come on! Stop sarcastically coughing! You guys are just jealous."
They both intently laugh.
Lily looks Jess up and down,"Has Max asked you out yet?"
Jess slowly swallows,"Lily are you out of your mind?!"
Lily laughed,"GIRRRL! You got to be out of your mind boo if you don't see that he likes you. Isn't that right Aidan?"
Bryan laughed.
Jess rolled her eyes,"Oh come on! Max does not like me."
Lily said,"Then why did you two kiss?"
Jess gasped,"How did you know about that."
Lily sips her drink,"Oh honey, everyone knows."
Jess's checks went red,"Who is everyone?"
Lily stood up,"That's for me to know and for you to never find out, catch up later. Stay blessed bitches!"
Jess shouted,"LILY WAIT!!"
Jess looked at Bryon,"Who's everyone?"
Aidan stood up,"Well, I have to go buy stationary. IT'S MY FAVOURITE PART OF THE SHOP! bye!"
Jess sighs,"Really? You too?"
Aidan nodded,"Yup."
Jess shouts,"WAIT AIDAN! - and then there was one."

Lily texts Bryon,'Okay miss is gone.'
Lily patiently waits.
Aidan opens the door slowly. Lily turns the volume up and Lily jumps onto a table with a microphone. Aidan jumps on another table with a microphone and they start singing to metal rock music.
Lily screams,"DANCE FRIDAY SESSION BITCHES."
Bryon turns in the stage lights and all the different colours bounced across the room.
After about an hour, Lily and Aidan sneak back out.
"Abort! One two three! Abort! It's Kevin!"
Kevin smiles,"Hey Guys."
Lily jumped up and down,"Hi!"
Keven looked at her,"Are you okay?!"
Lily stuttered,"Yeah."
Aidan backed away slowly,"Okay so - I have this - ya know, meeting? With a thing - so I'm going to go bye."
Kevin smiles,"Yeah Of course."
Lily smiles,"I'm going to go to."
Lily court up to Aidan,"That was a mess."
Aidan laughed,"Obviously."

"Lily!"
Lily smiles,"Yes queen."
Jess hugs lily and cries,"My parents are arguing, I'm scared, I have been dealing with a lot of anxiety and I don't know what's going to happen."
Lily hugs her back,"It will be okay, give them some time and I'm sure things will calm down."
Jess sobbed,"Thats what I told myself at first but last night - it got worse - I heard a plat smash against my door when they argued, my dad tried to hit her with it."
Lily gasped,"No way! You can stay at mine for a while, if you want - you know my mum loves you. We can do face masks, I can pamper you and it will be so fun! You can have a stress-free time, until your ready to go back."
Jess hugs lily again,"Thank you so much."
Jess let's go if lily and Lily smiled,"It's okay, we got to stick together, now we had class to get to."
Jess laughed,"Let me guess? You know if you get there early Kevin will be there."
Lily smiles,"First of all, I would ditch any boy to help my friend but now that you feel better, I do want to get there on time. Are you a mind reader? Where is your magic marble? I don't like voodoo!"
Jess laughs,"You make me laugh!"
