Bruce had just about finished wrapping my hand with a bandage as Tony waltzed into the room.

"You did great kiddo. I didn't agree with it but you got the info we needed." He said sympathetically placing his hand on my shoulder.

Having finished sorting my hand out Bruce let me leave. Hopping off the bench I gave Tony a tight hug. "Thank you, Ton-Ton." He chuckled at what I said as he ruffled my hair before pulling away.

"How you feeling? Also I came down here to tell you, you won't be here alone as Bruce, Barnes and Pietro will be here as well."

"Okay. Apart from my hand I'm feeling fine." I say smiling.

"Take it easy though, alright kid? Go rest or do something like that. Maybe go to the library or even the workshop." Tony suggested as he turned to leave.

"Okay, thank you."

"No problem Sparks, I'll see you later." With that he left and Bruce followed shortly after. "That's a weird a nickname?"  I thought.

I left the med bay, going back to my room. I picked up the note book and pen that Natasha gave me as well as the file that Barnes handed me before making my way to the Library.

To be fair I actually got lost and ended up asking F.R.I.D.A.Y. for help on directions. I mean, it's not my fault this place is so freaking huge. It's not like any of them gave me a map on the building.

The library is amazing! Theres books everywhere and on everything you can think of. I place my stuff on an empty table towards the middle of the room and went to find a book that I can read. As I left the table I noticed a small pile of books neatly stacked on the edge of the table with one book already open. "Strange, I don't remember seeing anybody in here when I entered nor have I heard anyone move around?  I pushed that thought out of my mind when I found a book that peaked my interest.

Sitting back down I opened the book and started reading it. The book interested me because it reminded me of the look Thor gave me.

Scanning through the pages I get the section on Odin and his family. Just as it was becoming interesting someone sat in the chair opposite, staring intently at me.

"If you're going to stare at me you could at least tell me why you're doing it?" I say without looking up. The person seems taken back by my words but only for a second before they clear their throat.

"You remind me of someone." He answered. Intrigued, I glance up at him while still turning to the next page.

I studied him for a moment taking in his appearance. His slick back black hair, pale skin, the green and black clothing who's style seem to be an odd fashion sense for anyone to wear, but it's his eyes that catch my attention, they look so damn similar to my mothers. Except his are emerald green and not electric blue like my mother's. Shrugging it off I roll my eyes.

"Pfft... yeah right. I've been in captivity since I was about three I doubt I remind you of anyone." I shot back. He noticed the pained expression I held so decided to change the subject.

"What are you reading anyway?"

"A book on Norse Gods but it's more for my curiosity then anything." I answered which seemed to get his attention.

"Continue." The strange man replied while shuffling forward in his chair.

"The blonde guy, Thor? I believe his name was. Gave me a weird look when he saw this necklace and when I mentioned my mom. The expression was one of familiarity for my mom and the necklace." I truthfully explained leaning back in my chair.

"Why, what does the necklace do?" He asked raising an eyebrow. His eyes flicking from my face down to the necklace and back.

"It helps me concentrate my telepathy if I want to find someone or something or at least that's all I've ever used it for." At the mention of that, the man gave me the same expression as Thor did.

Ignoring it I look down at the page I flicked to. He watched me before following my gaze to the page.

"Who are you looking at, may I ask?" He kindly asked.

"Someone called Luna Odindottir." I hear him mutter the name to himself which made me glance up at him. "Do you know her?"

"Fortunately. She's my sister, although I haven't seen her for some time now." He answered, but I could see talking about her made him sad.

"Wait, sister? Are you-" He cut me off before I could finish.

"Loki. Yes, I'm Loki, Prince of Asgard."

"Awesome!" Was all I could say. He seemed genuinely confused by my reaction but dismissed it quickly.

"Apart from the necklace, you mentioned reading the book was out of curiosity due to my oaf of a brother." He paused making me nod. "Who's your mother?"

"Her name was Luna Black."

"You're Stark's child aren't you?"

"I am. My name's Brooklyn Stark." I nod.

"When did you last see your mother?"

"How do you know I haven't seen her recently?"

"Because you referred to her in the past tense." Loki points out.

"Oh. Well, I haven't seen her for 12 and a half years. Why?"

"Interesting." He thought to himself, looking away. That was until he turned back to me with a mischievous smile.

"Let's take a look, shall we?" He commented raising his hand toward my forehead. Moving my head back I grabbed his wrist stopping him from going any further.

"What!? What are you doing?" I question with a hint of fear in my voice.

"I merely want to see what your mother looks like." The Asgardian coolly retorted as if it was obvious.

"No. It- it won't work." I stutter letting his hand go.

"Oh and why's that?" He asked seeming amused by how convinced I appear.

"Because I don't have any memories left of her. At least not clear ones." I explain.

"Well it appears you're in luck. I can unlock the memories while seeing what's gotten my brother so fascinated with you mother."  Seeing the truth behind his words I nod my head in agreement.

"It won't hurt, I promise. Well, physically no but mentally and emotionally I cannot guaranteed." He warned.

"Do it." I agree. Loki nods and proceeds to place the palm of his hand against my forehead.

Out of nowhere all the lost memories of my mother came flooding back to me, but this time I can see them more clearly. They weren't specific ones but it was enough. In fact all the memories came back, from the traumatic ones to the light-hearted happy ones.

Removing his hand, Loki was speechless. His mouth hung slightly open as he stared at me unable to speak. "I'm sorry." He stuttered put after a moment of silence.

"It's fine." I reply quietly. "Thank you." I add just as someone walks in.

Moving my attention to the entrance of the library I see Barnes standing there fuming as he notices my bloodshot eyes and Loki sitting opposite me.
