As I made my way forward, I couldn't help but look around. The scenery was beautiful. Even though it was only thick forest and not much can be seen.

It hit me that there was no sky for snow to be here, and I had never seen snow.

But surprisingly it wasn't as cold as I imagine it to be.

Maybe it's not real snow?

My thoughts were cut off when I suddenly made contact with the ground.

The snow was soft so it didn't hurt. But man, on my bare arms it was freezing.

I pushed myself up and it turns out I had tripped over a broken stick.
It barely passed off as such, almost a log. But it was broken, split in the middle.

I sat up and dusted the snow off of myself. I shivered from the cold contact.

I laughed at myself from tripping over the stick and continued forward.

But when I turned a loud snap rung out though the area.

I turned back snd the stick was in pieces this time.

"Okay....strange.." I said outloud.

Nevertheless, I turn back and made my way forward. As I progressed I came across a bridge with bars blocking the way. Rushing water below.

Okay, how will I get passed this?

As I made my way to the edge of the bridge, I stopped walking, but not because I wanted to.

I just stopped moving, well my legs did. They just stood in place, as if something was holding them.

I was feeling worried but I kept my cool.

I then heard a deep voice from behind me speak.

"Human....don't..you know how to greet a new pal?" The voice seemed strained but sent chills down my spine.
I'm not going to lie, I was a little scared.

"Turn around, and shake my hand..."

I felt my legs gain control again and turn around so fast that my backpack almost flew off of me.

The person was in a shadow and they had thier hand held out for me to shake.
I was startled to see a skeletal hand but shook it.

Then sound of farting rung out. I jumped, not expecting the sudden sound.

The mystery person chuckles and the shadow over them disappeared. As the hand showed, he was a skeleton.

He was chuckling but it sounded a little forced.

He stopped and said,
"i'm sans, sans the skeleton you're a human right? that's hilarious. i'm actually supposed to be on lookout for humans but i'm too lazy to capture you...but my brother, he's a human hunting fanatic. he's set of capturing humans, even though he wouldn't hurt a fly."

He spoke that a little fast and it felt like he was trying to read a script as fluent as possible.
He sounded like he was tired of saying that speech.

"Um..well hi," I said raising my hand as a slight wave, "I'm (Y/n) the uh..human" I said.

"nice t' meet you, my bro is a little the ways down the path. you can go through the bars, he made them to wide to stoo anyone." He said, sounding scripted once again. But I brushed it off.

It was a little wide but I could barely make it through. I had to go through side ways but I made it.

Maybe too wide for a child.

I looked behind me and Sans was gone. When I turned back forwards to process he was there in front of me.

Before I could question it Sans spoke,
"my bro's on his way over, you can hide behind that rock over there." He said pointing towards the said rock.

I went over and hid. Then I heard fast footsteps getting closer.

"SANS!" A loud voice said, well, mor like shouted, "YOU LAZYBONES YOU HAVEN'T EVEN RECALIBRATED EVEN ONE PUZZLE!"

"sorry bro, i guess i fell asleep" I heard Sans reply.

I looked around the rock and saw another skeleton, but he was much taller than Sans. He was wearing an interesting outfit but it seemed to fit him.

The tall skeleton was ranting on how lazy Sans was and said that if a human came down here it would be embarrassing for him to not make a good impression.

He spoke in third person sometimes so I learned his name was Papyrus.

I had an idea. I stood up and climbed on the rock.

"Funny, you seemed to make a great first impression without!" I say loudly to get his attention.

They both looked over and I flashed a smile to Papyrus.

His face lit up with happiness and Sans had a concerned look on his face.

"OH MY GOSH! A HUMAN! IT MUST BE MY LUCKY DAY! I THE GRREAT PAPYRUS SHALL GO HOME AND MAKE CELEBRATORY SPAGHETTI!! SANS ESCORT THE HUMAN!" After saying that Papyrus ran down the path so fast that snow was kicked up like dust.

I giggled and hopped off the rock.

"He's an energetic one." I say looking toward Sans.

He seemed to be shocked but quickly recovered.

"Uh, yeah that's my bro." He said with a happy tone in his voice.

"Well shall we get going? Wouldn't want to miss celebratory spaghetti right?" I say.

Sans nodded and began walking down the path Papyrus sprinted down.

A few minutes of awkward silence passed and the cold seemed to catch up with me and a shivered and hugged my body.

I guess Sans noticed cause the blue jacket that he had on was handed to me.

I must have had a shocked look on my face cause he answered,

"i don't really need it, and you seemed to be.....uh..chilled to the bone" he said.

I thanked him and took the jacket, putting it on immediately. I had to take my backpack off. As I did I paused.

"Did you just....?" I thought and giggled.
"You made a pun!" I said in my chuckle. I put my bag back on.

Sans chuckled too.

"you got me" he shrugged.

So he likes puns.

I basked in the warmth of the jacket and quickly thought of a pun to make and we walked.

Then I got it.

"I guess the jacket has," I bend down and grabbed a handful of snow then held it up, "snow effect for you?"

Sans laughed then said,

"That was good but tibia honest i got a skeleton more up my sleeve" he said and hel his arm up for emphasis.

We laughed and spent the whole way throwing puns back and forth. He knew quite a lot.
