I was somewhere dark, then a spotlight shown on something.

It looked like a child, looking down.

"Hello?" I said.

The child began to slowly look up but faded away, like dust, before they showed their face.

Then Toriel appeared but she had a large slash across her body.

I was in shock. Toriel had such a heartbreaking look on her face.
She looked at me, but it didn't seem like she was seeing me.

She too faded into dust.

It went dark again and a laugh echoed all around me.

I felt like I had to run, but I had no idea where. I ran anyway in any direction.

The laugh continued and I began to feel suffocated.

The more I ran, the harder it got to breathe.

Then a light appeared before me. It was so bright I couldn't fully see whatit was. I saw a faint silhouette of a woman.

A loud sound began to ring in my ears.

HOOONK HOOOONK HOOOONK

It continued for a while until I realized.

Oh my alarm, this is a dream.

I felt myself shifting from dream to reality.

Feeling too drowsy to open my eyes I reached over in search for my phone, which was setting the alarm off.

I felt around what felt like a table but I couldn't find my phone. The alarm was beginning to annoy me.

I had to open my eyes to find it.
I was shocked to see I was in an unfamiliar place, then the memories all come back to me about what happened the past few days.

I'm guessing "days". There's not really a way to keep track.

Wait...

My phone! That's it!

I sat up and grabbed my backpack. I opened it and my phone was in a pocket. Ringing loudly.

I grabbed it and turned it off.

But it was weird.

The alarm that went off was to remind me to go to the lobby of the hotel for dinner.

I was confused and when I checked the date.

"Huh!" I exclaimed.

It....it was the same day I fell. Only a few hours seemes to pass.

"How...what..." I sputtered to myself in confusion.

"Whats got you so flabbergastered?" I heard a deep voice speak.

I looked up and saw Sans standing a few feet away from me.

"Uh..don't you mean flabbergastED?" I responded chuckling a bit.

"Uh..that's what I said." He responds.

"No you- ah never mind. I just found out it has only been a few hours since I fell down here. But it felt like a few days." I say looking at my phone curiously.

I then caught a glimpse of something in my backpack. When I got a closer look, i realized that it was the pie and snacks i brought.

I gasped, "I totally forgot about that!!"

I grabbed my bag and stood up.
"I'm gonna put a few things in the fridge  if that's okay!" I say jogging to the kitchen.

I put my cans of soda and the whole pie in the fridge and trotted back to the living room.

I sat back down and saw something else in my backpack.

A little object, I took it out.

It looked like a flip phone. It had a note on it that said,

"This is now your phone my child, it can help you with keeping track of time. You can also call me anytime.
              Love,
                 Toriel. "

I flipped it open and noticed that the date was different than my other phone had. It said a date a few days after I fell.

"You look so lost" I heard Sans say. I forgot he was here for a minute.

"Well I am....my phone I had when I was on the surface says that I was here for a few hours. But the one that the woman who took care of me gave me, say it has been a few days." I say with hopeless  confusion in my voice.

"Huh...I never knew that.." Sans says.

"Knew what? Wait...oh.." I said as I realized.

"Man... the ancient humans are more worse than I thought. Not only did they imprison the monsters but they made it so much longer by making a few hours for us to a few days for the monsters!" I ranted.

I slumped down onto the couch.

Sans sat next to me and put his hand on my shoulder in reasurrence.

"Now I know without a doubt," I began,  "That I need to set the monsters free. All of you have suffered for much longer than we thought." I say.

"You definitely have the determination for it" Sans says. "I...I believe in you kid." He seemed to hesitate at that but he sounded genuine.

I looked at him and smiled.

"Thanks Sans. It's nice to have a friend down here to help me. " I say and give him a hug.

He paused but hugged back and chuckled.

"That's what I promised." He said.

I was questionable about that statement but I decided to ask about it later.

I broke away from the hug and looked out the window of the living room.
