As Sans and I threw puns back and forth he proved to me that he knew way more puns than I did.

"Okay Okay, you beat me. You are the Pun King and I am merely a peasant." I say stopping and bowing jokingly.

Sans chuckled and we kept walking. We walked past what I assumed to be the puzzles that Sans was too lazy to re-calibrate. It was kinda disappointing, I really wanted to solve them, they looked interesting.

We then entered a lively little town. We passed this big sign that had the name "Snowdin" written on it. So I assumed it was Snowdin.

The town was cute and the people-er, monsters,  were so nice.

"Is this your town Sans? It's so nice." I say.

"eh, i guess, when you've seen the samething over and over again it tends to get a bit old." He said shrugging.

"I guess you're right. I come from a big city with a lot of lights, and people tend to go for vacation and such but since I live there...you know, I'm not as amazed." I say in response.

We come closer to a house at the end of Snowdin. I looked up and saw that it had a pirate flag hung at the top.

Sans stopped at the door so I stopped as well.

"This is Paps' and my house." He says. Before opening the door.

As the door opened, straight ahead was the kitchen and I could see Papyrus running around said kitchen.

He noticed us at the door and stopped.

"WOW SANS THIS IT THE FIRST TIME YOU'VE BEEN EARLIER THAN EXPECTED! I HAVEN'T FINISHED MAKING THE SPAGHETTI.." Papyrus looked surprised and then hung his head slightly.

"It's okay! I would be honored to help. I think it would be a perfect house welcome if i could help!" I say in hopes of making him feel better.

Papyrus lit up.

"REALLY?! THAT IS A GREAT IDEA HUMAN!" He exclaimed and practically dragged me into the kitchen.

I was shocked to see a pot of boiling water with a box of spaghetti and smashed tomatoes.

I caught a glance of Sans and he seemed to sigh.

Does this always happen?

"I'm  sorry but may I suggest something?" I day to Papyrus.

"YES HUMAN? DO YOU HAVE SOMETHING YOU WISH TO SAY?" He responds.

I go on to explain a different approach on making the spaghetti. He takes my advice with such joy.

We restart and make the spaghetti together. I teach Papyrus that you have to wait for the water to boil and then put the dry noodles in the water...just the noodles.

I tried to cut up some tomatoes but Sans insisted he do it.
I guess it is reasonable to not want a stranger in your home with a knife.
We made the sauce and drained the noodles.

Everything was done, and we plated the spaghetti. It looked beautiful.
We sat down and ate.

"WOWIE HUMAN! THIS SPAGHETTI IS MAGNIFICENT! I WILL ADMIT IT, YOU'VE BESTED ME AT MAKING SPAGHETTI!" Papyrus says cheerfully eating the spaghetti.

"I didn't make it, we all worked together. That's why it tastes so good." I respond which seemed to make Papyrus happier and Sans smile slightly more.

We finished eating and Papyrus took the dishes to wash them in the tall sink.

I stood up ans wipes the table and counters. I yawned and felt really drowsy.

"Hey um, do you guys know how much that inn is. I'm feeling quite tired, is it late?" I ask.

"Yeah it's around..."he pulls out a small object, I realized it was a phone. "8:00 pm." He says then turns to me, "but you don't have to stay at the inn, you can stay here. We don't mind." He adds putting his phone back in his pocket.

"Really? That would be nice, you sure your fine with me staying?" I ask.

Sans seemed to hesitate but responded nonchalantly. "Yeah, you're our guest."

I smiled and gave him a hug before walking to sit on the sofa in the living room.

I took my shoes off and put my backpack next to the sofa before laying down on the couch.

I felt so tired I drifted off faster than I expected.
