I looked back from the window and accidentally made I contact with Sans.

My face felt a little warm as I averted my eyes in surprise.
I don't know why though.

"Uh...welp!" I stood up, putting both phones in each pocket in bothsides of my pants.

"I probably should explore this place a little more." I say and turn to Sans, "there is more to the underground right?" I ask.

Sans seemed a little shocked.

"You want to leave already?" He asks.

"Well it's not that-it's just..I need to know a little more ground, talk to the monsters, maybe fond the history of the war and such." I explained.

Sans looked slightly relieved.

"So," I say," Are you going to show me around or should I go explore on my own while you lie around." I say jokingly and placed my hand on my hip.

Sans chuckled and stood up.

"Why not? It's better than doing nothing." He says with a shrug and a grin, "when should we head out?"

"Um, now? The sooner the better." I say and start walking to the door.

Sans stopped me before I reached it. I looked over at him, confusion written on my face.

"Did you forget that it's cold outside? Here." He says and gives me a jacket, it was almost the same but the color was different. "Here, I found this in my closet it's an old jacket of mine but it can still keep you warm." He explains.

I smiled to him and put it on. It was nice for being old, I don't even see any signs of it being old. He's really good at maintaining stuff.

I turn and open the door, the cold air greeting my face as we both walked out.

I looked to the right where I saw the bright town and monsters. Then I looked to the left, it looked quiet and dark, the fog was really thick.

It made me a little nervous and glad that Sans was coming with me.

"Are you ready to go or do ya want to just stand out here?" Sans says with a slight chuckle.

I laugh a little and we begin walking down the foggy path.

As we walked the fog became more and more thick, to the point where I could even see my own hand.

When that happened, I felt Sans take hold of my hand. The fog was too thick to even see him so, knowing that he was still next to me felt comforting.

It felt like the fog lasted forever but we finally reached a clearing. I let out a sigh of relief from making it out.

I looked over to Sans and smiled, "Thanks for making sure I didn't get lost in the fog." I say.

He shrugged, "It was nothing"

When he shrugged we noticed that we were still holding hands and quickly withdrew them.

Sans had a faint blue on his cheekbones as he let out a small awkward chuckle.

I feel myself blush a bit and looked forward.

That's when I realized where we ended up.

It was beautiful, it was a cavern with a soft blue glow everywhere, it was comforting.

I began to walk forward, Sans following behind.

The place was so peaceful I could almost hear music.

"Sans, what is this place?" I ask while admiring the scenery.

"This is Waterfall. It's a place where monsters wish to the gemstones on the ceiling and echoflowers grow." He says.

"Why do they wish to the gems on the ceiling?" I ask as I look up to them. They were so beautiful.

"They're the closest things we can get to having stars. Since we're underground, we don't get to see actual ones." He explains.

"That's just terrible, you guys don't have the blessing of seeing a starry night sky. I mean, I've never seen one myself so, we have that in common." I say smiling at Sans.

We continued walking until we reached one of Sans' stands.

"You can explore more of Waterfall but I wanted to warn you not to go past here, at least for now. It's not safe past this point." Sans says with seriousness in his eyes.

"Okay, I'll remember that. But if it leads the way of freeing the monsters you know I'll have to go at one point. But i guess for now, if it's that serious, I'll respect your request." I say with a smile.

Sans returns it and begins to speak.

"Welp, all that walking around has made me hungry. You wanna go to Grillby's for some grub?" He asks.

"Sure, I could eat." I respond.
