His Best Friend part 6

Another person to just not show up to school. Its really worrying you. First Corbyn and now Daniel. He said he didn't know if he could go yet but go where?

The school day dragged along really slowly that day. The classes that Daniel where in were no fun. The only class that was some what okay was the one with Jonah. The last few minutes of class ticked by agonizingly slowly. Then the bell rings.

"Y/n do you wanna hang out tonight?" Jonah asks coming up to your locker.

"Maybe tomorrow im gonna go by Daniels house to see if he's okay," Jonah smiles small nodding.

"Okay ill see you later," He says walking away.

You close your locker and make your way to the parking lot to your new car. Your mom had just gotten a new car and passed this one down to you. You hop in throwing your bag in the passenger seat before pulling out of hells parking lot.

You pull up to his mansion looking house and step out of the car. All the lights are off and there's no cars in the yard. Even though its quiet and obvious that no one is home you still knock. Again to get no response.

You deside to just text him or even give him a call. Hoping for him to answer. Except he won't.

When you get home you turn on the tv while plopping on the couch. There he was on TV.

He was on American Idol!

Lets do a hearty time skip about four months or so :)

"Y/n grab the last few boxes yea? Ill meet you down at the moving truck?" Your mom says walking out of your now emty bedroom.

You sigh grabbing the last box and make your way down the stairs. Your mom decided to get a place in LA. Which means sell the one in Portland.

You place the box in the back of the truck and then stand next to Jonah and Zach. This was the last goodbye too the two boys.

"Im gonna miss you boys. Hopefully when you can come out to LA you will visit me?" You ask.

"Of course y/n we would never miss and opportunity to be with you," Jonah says pulling you into a hug.

It was now Zachs turn and he has tears running down his rosy cheeks. You dont say anything just pull him into a hug comforting him.

"Zach this isnt a goodbye lets call it a see you later? Anyway you will be in Los Angeles very soon I already can see your name selling out Venues. And guess what ill be there for you," a tear runs down your own cheek as well. It comes time to leave and you get in the backseat of the car.

Looking at the two boys holding each other broke you. But what hurt worse was that Daniel was gone he never came back.

Okay so this is confusing but more time went by and now Daniel is back in portland. He let his Brown hair grow back and he looked different. He was different. Now its Daniels POV..

"Y/n im back im sorry I-" Daniel stops looking up at a random women he has never met. It was the right house. "Sorry is y/n home?" He asks scratching the back of his neck nervously.

"Oh sweety y/n doesnt live here anymore im sorry," the lady says closing the door. Daniel stands there confused. She moved? Why didn't she tell me?

Just then Daniel climbs back into his mothers car. He had to go back to school today. As he entered the hallways it got silent as people watched him.

He was picked on and teased for gettin voted off of Idol. Called names and other things. But as the day went on Jonah and Zach approached Daniel.

"Hey bro we wanted to know if you want to join our band? Of course you don't have to but it would be amazing! We still need three people?" Jonah explains. Daniel thought about this opportunity.

"And where will this band go?" He asks.

"We arent sure why dont we just take it day by day? You know anyone who is into music like us who will be in it?" Zach asks.

"Yes actually Corbyn and Jack they live in Pennsylvania and North Carolina I can call them up. Maybe meet in LA for a day to start?" Daniel says excitedly. With graduation coming up this is perfect.

He could finally make his dreams come true. And make new friends. As he thought he blurted out randomly.

"Why Don't We make a band?"
