Chapter Seventeen: Glitter Hits the Fan

Ro looks at his phone once against to see the reply Venus had given him. "That was fast. Onto phase two. Are you sure you want to do this?"

"Yes."

"Do you have everything you need?"

"Yes."

"Okay. Go get him tiger!"

He has to do this. This will likely get him into big trouble, but he will rather be in trouble, than to regret not going after Dex.

He takes a deep breathe and raises his hand.

The teacher sees him immediately. "Yes, Mr. Marsh?"

Well here goes nothing. "I am going to do something bad!"

Everybody turns to look at him with varying expressions of disbelief, even the teacher looked skeptical. Despite the situation, his face turns red.

He doesn't let himself cower. Ro holds up a piece of paper, he announces, “I will not recycle this piece of paper."

The teacher looks like she is holding back a laugh, "Alright, Mr. Marsh, you go do that."

Ro pauses at that. The teacher is allowing him to do something bad? Is she joking? Maybe she thinks he wont do it? He stands up from the seat with his folded piece of paper and he only hesitates for a moment before dropping it into the trash.

There he did it.

He looks uncertainly at the teacher, "Are you going to send me to the principal's office now?"

She laughs now, a short chuckle. "No, Mr. Marsh. I am not going to send you to the principal's office. Now sit down so I can continue the class."

Ro frowns. Why didn't she send him to the principal's office. Maybe she is giving him a second chance?

He raises a hand. "If I don't sit down, will you then send me?"

She loses her smile and her eyes narrow. "Sit down."

"Yes, ma'am" Before he knew it, he was sitting down. He curses himself. He is supposed to be causing trouble, not following the rules. This shouldn't be so hard. Dex makes breaking rules look so easy. What would Dex do?

His eyes widen.

He knew exactly what Dex would do. Ro searches his book bag until he finds the canister of pink glitter.

Before he could talk himself out of it, he stands up. He tries to plead with his professor, "Can I please go to the Principal office?"

He doesn't look to the other students because he knew that would make him more nervous.

The professor raises her eyebrow. "Why do you want to go?"

"I need to talk to him."

She shakes her head. "He is a busy man. I cant send you to him when you haven't done anything wrong. Now sit down, Mr. Marsh!"

He sit doesn't down. He looks down at the canister in his hand. "Okay but cant blame me for what I do next."

Before she could ask what he meant, Ro pours the glitter in his hand and throws it directly at the blowing ceiling fan.

Glitter goes everywhere...
