CHAPTER 2

Few months later

[ring-ring]

🎶Oh, it hurts the most 'cause I don't know the cause

Maybe I shouldn't have cried when you left and told me not to wait

Oh, it kills the most to say that I still care

Now I'm left tryna rewind the times you held and kissed me back....🎶

I open my eyes to the blindly sunlight from my window and regret not closing my curtain last night before sleep. My hand reaching around to find my phone that I have no idea where it is at the point. As soon as I grab on to it, I smile naturally when I see my crush name on it. It's been forever after I leave the hospital. We haven't been in contact for sometime though, but I still miss his present.

" Hey Benz" I chirp into my phone and I could hear his angelic chuckle through my phone.

" Hey, lily. I'm waiting for you downstairs now". He chuckle into the phone.

I am shock. Then I drop my phone on my bed.I rush to check myself in the mirror to put my natural loose curl blonde hair in messy bun and my bare face without drooling is checked before I start running downstairs at full speed still wearing my light pink Victoria's Secret silky pjs set. I told you I'm a bit too surprise.

" Benz, I miss you." I called out his name before run straight to his embrace as he open his arm with big smile for me.

" Me too, lily. I'm sorry for not visiting you sooner, gotta get my life together as the new kid and stuffs." He said to my hair as we hug. I am basically sobbing in his chest being the drama queen per usual.

" Come let go talk in my room" I grab his hand and pull him with me as we walk upstairs together. He still smile warmly the way he always is. I blush a little when I realize what I am wearing.

" Your room still look the same" Benz said as his eyes staring around my bedroom before settling himself on the couch next to the end of my queen size bed. I take that as my cue to cover myself with a robe before sitting at the other end of the couch facing him.

" I can't believe, it's been 1 years since your parents moved to London , and you only come to visit me now. You do realize it's just a 5 hours flight to L.A, don't you ?" I said with pout lip and sad eyes.

" Don't be dramatic though, you know I miss you too. And most importantly, I am here now, aren't I ?" I'm still sulking because he's always been too busy after moving.

" Nah, stop sulking. Now I'm here to make it up to you. Congrats on your Fashion design enrollment lily." He look at me with his signature smile as he grab my hand to hold, and he has no idea what it does to me. He has no idea how I feel about him, and I will never tell him because as stupid as it sound, I don't want to destroy us.

" Okay then, give me a moment. Let me get ready and we can go grab breakfast."

" Takes your time, princess"

[20 mins later]

I look at my reflection and I am pretty much satisfied with my total looks today.
