CHAPTER 8

I never know how walking on eggshells feel like until today. It's been few weeks after our little moments. We've been avoiding each other guys the whole weeks. I actuahang out with jayden and Emily a lot recently.

Whenever I'm back home, The trip from gate to my room feel like I am in 007 mission. It would be too awkward for us. As soon as my bedroom door appear in front of me, I smile so much that my mouth hurt a little. Just when I open my door, my smile falter. Benz in his glory present on the couch of my room. He is sitting there and staring at me with his blank expression. Everything seem so still suddenly. I start to debate whether to run back outside or what. I'm not sure at all.

' Ly, we need to talk. ' He clear his throat carefull looking at me.

' Yeah? ' I don't know if I should sit or stand here all day. I look at him.

' Come sit here, I don't bite.' He pat the side of the couch gesture for me to sit next to him.

' Just spill it Benz.' I stand root to my spot talking to him.

He start walking toward me. I stare at my feet because I'm not sure where we stand after this talk. Suddenly, he pull me to his chest, hugging me tightly. He sigh. I sigh too. I'm so lost whether to hug or hit him better.

' I'm sorry for being oblivious to your feeling. Now that I look back, you look surprised and sad yesterday at airport. I'm sorry for hurting you. I'm sorry for the pain I caused you, Ly. ' he said patting my head and kiss my hair.

I'm standing there in his arm and speechless. So many emotions running toward my heart now. I feel so much but it start to numb. Imagine how you love someone so long time secretly until he kiss you then to have you stay as their friend. Imagine you stay as friend seeing all him being lovey touchy with someone else. I don't even know I am crying until I feel his cool hand wipe my tear for me.

' Ly, please say something. I can't lose you. You know how much you mean to me. Please! ' He plead me with his worry and pity eyes. Both his palm beside my face holding me up to look at him. ' Please Ly, please say something. You can hit me insult me or swear at me. Just please say something.'

' Can you leave me alone? I want to be alone. ' I say between my sob. I look at him with straight face. He look at me with so much emotions. Then he nob slowly. He start walking toward the door, when he last glance up at me.

' let's talk when you feel better.' with that he leave me on my own. I'm grateful. At least I have my own space to vent my emotions.

I lock the door and crying with my back at the door. I cry so much that I fall a sleep. When I wake up, it's already 4 pm. I'm still sweaty and a big mess. So I take a long shower. Only after shower, I feel so hungry. So my resolution is to make myself look decent and go out for dinner. I might as well have some fun.

Of course, I'm not stupid go leave through the door. I text Jayden .

L: Hey, doing?

J: Thinking of you :P
Sup babe?

L: Let's grab dinner.

J: Now?

L: Next life buddy.

J: What? Wait.

L : See you at my balcony.

I plan on jumping from my balcony to his side of the house. I'm not that mad at Benz to the point I leave without a note, so I left one by my door.

Just as I'm about to jump, Mr asswhipe appear by the balcony opposite from mine. He only has his short on. No shirt no shit. I mean I know he workout but seeing it like this. I'm not complaining really.

' glad you like it babe' he said with a wink.

I don't reply. I throw my belt bag at him aiming his face, but he catch it well. I roll my eyes. I claim my balcony to cross to his balcony. This is the advantage of town house.

Then my heel stuck at the design making me lost my balance. I prepared for the fall but instead I fall with Jay beneath me. So the position is pretty much me on him. My hand on his chest, his hand on my back with me in between his legs. I blush real bad. He smell so good.

' I'm sorry and thank you. ' I said trying to wiggle my self from him but his hold so tight.

' No such thing is free ' he said that before he peck me on my lip.

I stay frozen on him for a moment. His lip feel so soft. Oh god. I'm going crazy. I should slap him not shy away and freeze.

' I like the position but it's uncomfortable on the floor babe. ' he said that with his signature smirk.

' Asshole ' I said with a slap on his chest. When I stand straight I see the light of my bedroom turn on, so I run straight to Jay's room with Jay hot on my heel. He then turn off his balcony door and curtain. Then we look at each other and laugh. Wow that's close.

' Your room look clean and neat, dude. ' I glance around his room then back at him. Strangely we don't feel awkward at all. He just stare at me with amusement in his eyes. He nob and start wearing his clothes.
