I left him to start unpacking and made my way to our bathroom. I dug through a box on the counter and found my shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a towel.

I stood in the warm shower for a long time. It felt so good on my sore muscles. When the water started to get colder I got out of the shower and dried off. I looked in the mirror and checked out the gash on my head.

It hadn't required stitches, instead it was stuck together with a few butterfly bandages. The bruise around it was turning purple and green, but it didn't feel nearly as bad as it looked.

My swollen lip was starting to go down. As I stood in the bathroom wrapped in a towel examining my face, I felt a hush of water run down my leg. I looked down and saw a small puddle of slightly cloudy water by my feet.

"So much for sleeping in the new house tonight." I mumbled to myself. I was exhausted, but felt a surge of adrenaline run through my body.

I grabbed another towel and threw it on the floor then stuck my head out of the bathroom door and into our bedroom. Grayson had his back to mine as he unpacked our computer and worked on hooking up the wires.

"Umm babe?" I said with a smile. He stood up and looked over at me. "Feel better?" He asked sweetly. I nodded and smiled. "Umm kinda, but, I don't think we'll be sleeping here tonight." I said shyly.

He furrowed his eyebrows and walked towards me. "What? Why?" He asked confused. I smiled. "My water just broke. We have to go back to the hospital."  I explained. Grayson rushed over to me and looked from me to the soaked towel on the bathroom floor.

"Seriously?!" He said delightedly. I nodded and smiled. He wrapped me in a hug and then looked around. "Shit. I don't even know where my hospital bag is yet." I said as he looked around at all the boxes.

"Get dressed and I'll go tell E." He said nervously. He spun around and started to leave the room, but I stopped him. "Babe!" I yelled before he got to the door. He walked back over to me. "Calm down!" I laughed.

He sat on the edge of the bed and sighed. "Not possible." He said with a smirk. "Help me find my clothes and my phone first, please." I said, trying to keep him focused on a task so he didn't freak out.

"You're so calm." He remarked. I smiled and nodded. "I don't know why, I just feel really chill and good right now." I confessed. I feel better than I had in days. The adrenaline running through my body made me forget about all the pain.

He smiled and kissed me softly. "I guess our first night sleeping here will be addys first night sleeping here, too." He said with a smile. He started rummaging through boxes and throwing clothes on the bed.

I quickly got dressed while he found my phone. "I'll call the doctor, you go tell E and find the hospital bag." I commanded. He left the room with a smirk as I called the doctors office.

A few minutes later I had the instructions from the doctor and Ethan and Grayson walked back into our room. "You just really don't want us to sleep, do you?" Ethan said sarcastically.

I threw my head back and laughed. "I want to see how long you can go without sleep before you officially snap." I replied. He rolled his eyes, but he was smiling. "Your bag is in the nursery." He said.

I nodded. "The doctor said to time contractions and come in when they are 5 minutes apart." I explained to the twins. Grayson nodded. "How far apart are they now?" He asked. I could feel the contractions every few minutes, but they were barely painful.

"About 8-9 minutes." I replied. "Can you make sure the bag is ready? I'm going to do my hair." I went back into the bathroom and dried, straightened my hair and applied a bit of makeup.

Every few minutes another contraction would start. Each one was just a bit more painful. I pulled up the app on my phone and tracked each contraction when it started and ended.

When I was done getting ready I checked my stats. The contractions were only 6 minutes apart and each one was coming quicker. I left our room and made my way back downstairs. I found Grayson pacing the kitchen nervously.

"You're going to wear a divot into the new flooring." I said sarcastically from the doorway of the kitchen. He turned to me and smiled. "I just talked to my mom. She wants you to call her before we go." He said softly.

I sat down on the kitchen island and grabbed my phone. "Hi y/n, how do you feel?" Lisa asked. "Not to bad so far." I replied. "I wanted to talk to you real quick before everything started getting crazy. I know you haven't had time to get everything ready for Adelyn, so what still needs to be done?" She asked sweetly.

I loved Lisa. She was the sweetest and most caring person in the world. I listed off a few things I hadn't had time to do yet like wipe down the crib and wash the sheets. "Don't worry about anything, we will get it all done." She reassured me. I thanked her and ended the call.

As Ethan and Grayson rushed around the house to make sure everything was ready. I waddled into the living room and sat on the couch. I closed my eyes and tried to rest as a few more contractions ran through me.

"Are you okay?" Grayson whispered gently as he sat beside me on the couch. I took a deep breath as another contraction started and then nodded. "Yea, we should probably get going, though." I said with a smile.
