you and thor had some feelings for each other in the past. at the time you all had gotten together you both weren't ready for a relationship. you were his rebound after jane, you knew this before you got with him, it didn't fully bother you at the time but it slowly drove you apart. and you were still hung up over a stupid ex and he was your distraction.
the feelings were true, even under all the circumstances, you had made a deal, remain close friends and when they both felt ready for a relationship they could try again. years passed and the other kept their promise, one fateful day you found a thor trying to lean against your door frame at the compound, but ended up terribly awkward.
**** "So... is our... deal... still on?"
"As far as I know, yes, unless you would like to change that."
"I would like to change that, but only if your up for it."
"Hell yeah, not going to lie, you had me worried for a second, thought you were going to change your mind all together and call the deal off."
