you sat absentmindedly in a café, a laptop sat in front of you while you finished that last paragraph of your college essay. finals were coming up, while you weren't doing homework you were studying for them. the door of the café opened and a man walked through, you thought he was attractive, but you pushed yourself to pay more attention to your essay.
you went into college a little later then most, you got a job that you worked for a few years before enrolling to college around 4 years ago. you were studying medicine, and that was going to take another 4 years of college. it didn't bother you, you couldn't wait to do what you loved.
the man had sat a table over, he was watching the place as if he was taking it all in. his attention was drawn to you, but you didn't notice this as you had gone back to finishing the essay. he was watched you carefully as you typed feverishly on your laptop. he was interested, not only were you beautiful to him but your story was calling out to him to learn.
you looked up as he walked towards you. he smiled brightly at you which you returned. when he spoke you were surprised to hear the very prominent english accent that his voice carried. you two spoke for what felt like hours, you had finished your essay in his presence, and got each other's numbers. you had a date on the next saturday. life was great even with finals around the corner.
**** "Hi. I couldn't help but notice you here, not to be rude but what are you writing?"
"An essay for one of my classes. If you don't mind me asking, who are you?"
