you and tom were best friends, grew up together. you were unbelievably happy for him when he told you he got the part of spider-man in the marvel cinematic universe. but you were also sad, it meant he was leaving. you were excited for him, but you didn't want him to leave and forget you. he was going to be gone for months.
once he's gone, he facetime's you everyday. doesn't miss a day ever. he let's you meet the cast over the phone, he calls you when he's in the middle of setting up a prank on anthony mackie. this is what was happening at the moment. tom was sneaking into rooms, making sure no one was in them, before looking down at you on his screen with a large smile. you were best friends, distance wasn't going to change that.
