Chapter Twelve

Lily's P.O.V

" A public execution! " Elijah yelled.

We had all just heard of the kings message. He had sent it out to the whole kingdom. They had Riker and were going to hold a public execution for his crimes against the kingdom.

" We know where he is and we know that castle. We've been there before remember? We just need a plan. " Ashton said.
" Agreed. This will be a quick mission. Get in, get Riker and get out. " I responded.

We could do this.

I watched as Parker climbed up a bunch of boxes and stood there, looking out on all of the rebels.

" You all know your positions, you all know the plan and we know the castle like the back of our hands. We've got this. Now, let's get our Alpha and Luna back! "

He jumped down as all of the rebels began to cheer. He walked over to me and I instantly laced our fingers together.

" We've got this " I smiled.
" Yeah. We do. " He agreed.

Now let's go get our friends back.

Riker's P.O.V

I didn't sleep at all. Well, I hadn't really been sleeping much since Annabelle was taken anyways.

I heard the jangle of keys and watched silently as the door on the far end of the room opened and three guards stepped in.

" Couple more minutes. You're having a public execution " One guard said.
" Lovely, I get to die in front of all of my adoring fans. Will the king be there? He's always been my biggest supporter " I laughed.

They opened the cage door but before they could grab me an alarm went off.

This could be my chance.

I ran at the guards and tried my best to fight them off. I managed to knock two out but the third one grabbed me.

"Damn it" I thought.

He pointed his gun to my head.

" Freeze " He said.
" We don't have time for this " Someone spoke.

A loud bang sounded and the guard fell. I turned around and saw Lily standing at the door, a gun in her hand.

" Let's go idiot. We know where Anna is " She said.

I got up as fast as I could and ran towards her.

" Thanks " I said.
" Anytime " she replied.

We both ran out of the room. Lily ran towards the exit, but I had another plan.

I grabbed her gun and ran as fast as I could to the Kings room.

I really hoped he was in here.

" Hello " I yelled with a smirk as I slammed open the doors.

It was just him. It was perfect.

" How did you—"

I didn't wait for him to finish his sentence. I pointed the gun and shot him a few times.

He was dead. This nightmare was so close to being over.

Suddenly someone ran into the room. I turned around and pointed the gun at them.

" Don't shoot! " They yelled.
" Why not? " I asked.
" I'm the kings kid. My name is Samuel, I'm sixteen. I'm a hybrid, like you and the rebels. My father is..well now was, a horrible man. He kept me locked away because I was a hybrid. I'm half werewolf and half vampire. Please, I have plans for this kingdom. I want the violence and suffering to end. Please. " He said.

Lily ran into the room.

" Riker lets go! Now! Everyone else has made it out. " She yelled, ignoring Samuel.
" If you end up like your father I'll come back for you " I said, pointing at Samuel.

Me and Lily ran out and managed to make it out of the castle.

" Anna's at some abandoned factory or something. Ashers got the details " She yelled at me as soon as we got outside.

I'm coming Annabelle.

We're all coming.

" Let's just go! " I whispered angrily.
" Look man I know you're stressed cause this is your mate we're talking about but we need to be smart. No one dies today " Parker replies.

We were outside where the rebels said Annabelle was being held. We had a plan but we'd have to wait a bit longer so the guards would be changing shifts. I was so close to getting her back to me. I didn't want to wait.

" Now " Lily said.

We all ran towards the factory. It was easy to overtake. Once the king was dead everyone but a few guards left.

" Annabelle? " I called out as I ran though a hallway of cells.
" Riker? Is that you? "

It was her.

I ran as fast as I could. I suddenly stopped at a cell.

" Annabelle " I gasped.
" Hey " She smiled.

She had a small scratch on her face but other than that, she was ok.

" You're ok " I cried happily
" I'm ok " She agreed.

I smiled and pulled her into a hug.

" I love you Riker " She said.
" I love you Annabelle. You're my forever, you're my always, you're my amazing little rebel, and you're my troublesome little mate "
