You managed to finish the ongoing maze of shrubbery and dead ends. Finally you came out onto the other side. With the breath almost stripped from your lungs and your energy zapped from the marrow of your bones, the only thing that lingered behind that fueled you was the adrenaline. It consumed you and drove you forward. Your breathing became rough and rigged. The air felt like tiny particles of lead that coagulated onto the lining of your esophagus. No amount of swallowing your saliva was going to help get it down. When you reached the back gate of the maze, you did spot a black car that was parked just beyond the chain link fence. The way out was only marked by a white lacey arch. It was the only object coming between you and the patrons inside of the car. You watched as they swiftly climbed out of the vehicle as soon as they made eye contact. Whoever that man was that saved you was speaking the truth.
Thank the gods for that.

Even though the men were here like the red haired man said, didn't automatically mean you could trust them. You weren't sure if you should feel relieved for the help or if you should feel completely terrified for your safety.
Can they be trusted?

"Are you miss y/n?" One man asked who was in a black suit with a pair of sunglasses. You stifled a laugh when you saw them.
What is thisA Men in Black film? The other man wore a similar outfit except he didn't have sunglasses, but adorned a pair of round rimmed glasses with a gray suit.

"W-who's asking?" You stutter lightly. You were still out of breath. Your eyes bounced back and forth between them. They seemed to be somewhat of a friendly duo. Although, it was a good idea to throw up a defense just in case this all went South. The second man took a bow and turned away to open the back right passenger door.

"We have been informed to escort you to the safehouse."

That didn't sound good to you. You felt nervous about leaving. You frown and turned your to glance back over your shoulder. The sound of a gunshot caught your attention. It didn't make you flinch, or jump. By this point, you had become desensitized to that sort of thing. I guess they're still fighting. I'm worried.

The first man spoke up after seeing your look of distress.
"We should get going, ma'am."

You turned to face them again when they addressed you and took a couple cautious steps forward.
"W-wait...We aren't going to wait for them?"

The man furrowed his eyebrows, not quite understanding what you meant.

"I'm sorry. Them?" He repeated, raising a dark brown brow. You bite down hard onto your bottom lip for being so clumsy with your words. Shit. I guess they don't know about the other guy. Should I inform them?
