I roughly pull my body away from him and force my way through the crowd and step up to the front. The police barricade was the only thing stopping me from running up there myself. I yelled out at him, screaming his name.

"YOONGI!!"

[Y/N's P.O.V.]

I screamed out to him. My emotions getting the better of me. I refused to hold them back. When they all came closer, nearing the area that I was in, he lifted his head up when he heard my voice. We locked eyes. For a split second, he stared longingly into mine. For a brief moment he had a pang of guilt that reflected inside of his brown eyes. It seemed he had something to say to me. Or so I thought. As they strolled along in front of the barricade, he turned his head away. Any emotion or sliver of humanity he possessed prior to that facial expression, had been utterly wiped away. Now it was blank. Our eye contact broke as he was escorted inside the back of a S.W.AT van. As panic set in and my nerves were about to break and crumble beneath me, I felt Taehyung's presence behind me. I knew it was to comfort me. The moment his hand gently touched my arm, the only instinct I had was to bury my pathetic face into his chest. After that, uncontrollable sobs and tears flowed out of me. My cries were loud and haunting. I didn't care who was nearby to witness that side of me. I had been broken for way too long. It just took the right moment for me to unhinge and fall apart.

When y/n suddenly threw herself on me and began to cry, I was taken aback

When y/n suddenly threw herself on me and began to cry, I was taken aback. Her gesture surprised me. I'll be honest...when she began crying, it made me feel strange. It wasn't something I foresaw happening. Perhaps it was the last thing on my check list. However, it was clear she needed someone to lean on. I was the only person in close proximity that could possibly give her what she craved: Comfort and affection. I gently wrapped my arm around her and pulled her close to me. My hand instinctively went to pat the back of her head as if it moved on its own. I stood there in silence and allowed y/n to cry out all of her frustrations. Normally, these instances would weird me out. But with her, it was... different. I leaned my head down close to her and whispered into her ear.
