Pregnant in Dauntless- If the war didn't happen

Chapter ten

•TOBIAS• ONE MONTH LATER

"Get out of my house!" I'm screaming like a mad man but I can't stop. She's been threatening me, drugging me, taking advantage of me, separating me from everybody until I now have no family or friends anymore.

"Come on Four. You know what will happen if you tell anybody I drugged you,"
Everything she does, everything she says is meant to manipulate me.
"Yes you'll tell everybody I'm Tobias Eaton. Well guess what Lauren? I don't give a fuck anymore! You took everything from me! I have nothing left to lose anymore!"

"Fine then! But nobody will believe you!" She screeches, grabbing her coat and storming out of my apartment.

I sit down at the table, my head in my hands. I let myself sob, to be the scared little boy my father would never let me become.

I hate what I've done to Tris, the girl I love. The girl who hates me. I need to see her. But first I need to see Zeke.

TWO DAYS LATER

It's initiation time. I'm standing at the bottom of the net where me and Tris has our first kiss. It's painful to think about it.

I hear somebody land and turn around. A girl with two black braids and bright green eyes is catching her breath.
She rolls off and I help her down.

"What's your name?"
"Zoe," She has confidence I can give her that. Judging from her black and white dress, she's a Candor.

"First jumper Zoe!" I shout to Max. She walks off, without a second glance.

An hour later all of the initiates have jumped and are stood by the chasm.
There are 15 Dauntless and nine transfers.

The Dauntless are going with Chris and Uriah. Good luck to them. I inspect the transfers.

2- Henri- Erudite male
3- Sam- Candor male
4- Ocean- Amity female
5- Aspen- Erudite female
6- Xander- Abnegation male
7- David- Candor male
8- Grey- Amity male
9- Maya- Erudite female

I was surprised to see an abnegation transfer and two amity's. They almost never transfer. They always want peace, not fighting. You can always tell where they're from depending on their pretentious names.

"My name is Four and I will be your trainer."
A girl with white blonde hair speaks up.
"What kind of a name is that?" She's the amity girl, I can't remember her name.

"Well Ocean is a dumbass name in my opinion," the Candor David replies.
"Shut the fuck up everyone," I shout, sending them glares. I've had a horrible week and I'm pissed off.
"Follow me." I walk off, not even looking back.

When we arrive at the dorm, they all become confused.
"Is this the girls or boys dorm?" Maya asks, crossing her arms. I don't know what it is but she really reminds me of somebody.

"Both," I say. "Get used to it,"

•TRIS•

"I'll still be there for you and the baby but just not as your boyfriend. I'm so sorry Tris," He looks so sad I pull him in for a hug.
"It's Okay Al but can I just ask? Why?"
He shakes his head and smiles.

"You don't love me. You love him. The father,"
"Yeah I do," my voice is quiet, barely a whisper.
"He broke your heart and you still love him?"
"I didn't mean to deceive you it's just-"

"Tris look at me," I look up into his eyes.
"We were always better as friends. And I will help you raise Junior with all of the gang. But I know that I'm not who you're meant to be with,"

I nod and let go of him.
"Good bye Al,"
"Goodbye Tris,"

I'm sat at the chasm edge when I hear footsteps behind me. I don't look up. Only Chris knows about this spot.

"Tris?" That is definitely not Christina. It was a mans voice. Not Uriah, Zeke's or Will's either.
That means...
"What do you want four?"
He shuffles towards me and sits down.

"I wanted to see you," I scoff. We sit in silence for a while, listening to the roar of the water.
"She drugged me," He whispers.
"What?" I turn to face him. A single tear is trickling down his stubbly cheeks.
"She drugged me. She raped me and then threatened me afterwards. I didn't cheat on you, I love you,"

And just like that the walls I have built over the past two months crumble. I bite my lip to stop the flow of tears.
"You mean you didn't want her to you know...?"
He sniffs, looking more vulnerable than I have ever seen him.
"I was barely aware. The only time I could even think, she was threatening to reveal my past, threatening to kill you and my family and my friends. I didn't know what to do."
I take hold of his hand.

"I don't blame you. I'm sorry too. Especially for my brothers."
He chuckles, obviously reliving the moment.
"It fucking hurt," He says.
"I love you Tobias Eaton,"
"I love you too Beatrice Pedrad,"

He leans towards me and presses his lips gently against me and I sit on his lap, wrapping my legs around his waist. We sink deeper into the kiss and he runs his fingers through my hair.
"You cut it," He says between kisses.
"Yeah I wanted something different,"

We make out for a while, like a couple of teenagers without a care in the world.
"So what happened while I was gone?" He asks.
"Well... Zeke proposed to Shauna!"
"You're kidding? He actually worked up the nerve to do it? Wow! What else?"
"Umm Marlene got a new job, Lynn has a secret boyfriend, I'm pregnant and oh it was Wills birthday!"
He nods before freezing. He looks at me and I bite my lip.

"You're pregnant? How far along?"
"Five months," He winces.
"So you were pregnant when we broke up,"
"I was actually going to tell you when it all happened,"
"I'm such a dick," I turn his face towards mine, so he's looking into my eyes.
"It's going to be hard but we can work through this. I love you and I love this baby."

He smiles, a proper grin. He takes off my jumper so I'm left in my skin tight maternity top. My bump sticks out in it.
"Urgh I look fat!"
"No you look beautiful,"

Tobias places his hands on my stomach and has such a look of contentment that I automatically feel happier.

We're lying in his bed after kissing and talking.
"I know that you didn't expect to be a teen dad but..."
He rolls over and kisses my forehead.
"I couldn't be happier Tris,"

"I also wanted to say that I think I can join you in Training the transfers now. Is that okay? I won't fight or anything!"
"Of course you can Tris. Does everybody else know about the baby?"
"Yeah. But only the gang knows it's yours,"
"Ours and I want people to know,"

"Well you're going to have to win your friendship back when it comes to Zeke. I can tell Will has missed you though, Zeke and Uriah are idiots!"

We laugh. I've missed this.
"Do you want to sleep over?" He asks me. I look at time. It's too late for me to sneak home anyway.
"That would be great."

He hands me a back shirt and spare boxers, turning around while I change. I climb back under the covers as Tobias pulls his shirt off. My eyes immediately fly to the huge tattoo that covers his back and neck.

"I've missed you Tobias,"
"I missed you more,"
