I run through the crowd, pushing past shouting people and knocking over objects. I don't even look back.

The moment I saw him, I recognised Andrew Prior as my father. His eyes, nose, stance and build was identical to mine and caleb's.

I jump on the nearest train and sit down in the corner of the car. I try to steady my breathing but I keep seeing him over and over.

Why did he never want to find us? Did he choose not to? I'll never know.
I stand up and ready myself as we near the Dauntless building. Even after giving birth I'm still pretty fit, working out at Will and Christina's gym every day.

I take a step back and jump. The wind rushes through my hair and for a second I feel weightless. Then I'm crashing to the ground at an unnatural angle, my leg bent underneath me and my face pressed into the gravel.

I scream out as I try to stand, falling to the ground again in pain. My phone is in my pocket but the screen is completely smashed. I try switching it on but it's broken.

Annoyed, I throw it over the edge and adjust myself so that I'm at least a little comfortable.

I'm walking by the net when I hear somebody scream out loudly. I turn and look around, not seeing where it's coming from.

They shout again and i tilt my head back to look at the enormous gaping hole in the ceiling. "Oh shit."

I begin climbing the ladder up to the top, determined to reach them. When I get there I wipe the sweat off my brow and squint, eyes blinded by the sun.

Lying in an awkward and painful looking position is Tris. There are bruises and cuts on her palms from where she obviously landed. Her leg is definitely broken.

I crouch down next to her and shake her gently. Her eyes open and sit her up and rest her head on my lap. "I'm just going to check for any bleeding." I tell her and she nods weakly.

She's fine except for the leg and I pick her up bridal style and carry her over to the net. She scrambled in my arms.

"No Peter. I'm not jumping."
"There's no other way down."
"I don't care. My leg hurts and this won't help."

I roll my eyes at her complaining and sit her on the edge. "Fine whatever." She says before throwing herself into the darkness.

I wait for her to land before jumping myself, instantly reminded of initiation day. It stings as I land but I roll over and help Tris down.

With her hand on my shoulder and my arm around her waist I help her limp to the Emergency room.

I sign us in and sit next to her in the waiting room. "I've been here too many times recently." She says quietly and I nod.

"Yeah I guess we have."
"Do you have anything to do?"
"I have Netflix on my phone?"

We set it on my knee and plug in some earphones. We begin watching our favourite episodes of friends and how I met your mother.

Over an hour or two later her name is called and I guide her into the ward, leaving her with a doctor.

Lynn- I'm staying over at Shauna's tonight so make yourself food.
Me- I think I'll survive
Lynn- Whatever you say
Me- See you later
Lynn- Bye babe

Eventually she is released with a cast around her leg and crutches. "Do you want me to take you back to your apartment?" I ask her.
"No. The twins are with my mum and Four isn't here. I don't want to be alone."

"Oh."
"Can I stay at yours?" She asks nervously.
"Sure." I reply and head in the direction of my place.

There I reheat some soup and sit on the sofa with her. "Thanks." She says as I hand a bowl of steaming Heinz tomato to her.

"You know if you had acted like this when we were in initiation together I would have spent less time thinking about stabbing a butter knife into your eye." She states which makes me laugh- a sound I haven't heard in a long time.

I dress in some of Lynn's spare clothes and lay down on the sofa, wincing as my cast hits the table.

Peter walks in with his arms full of blankets and cushions. Sitting next to me he places one underneath my head and drapes a fluffy blue knit over me.

I sit up and look right at him. "Thank you Peter." He nods almost as if embarrassed.
"It doesn't matter."

"Yeah it does." I say before leaning forward. Our lips meet suddenly, moving against one another rhythmically. He bites my lip gently and I open my mouth, his tongue doing amazing things to me.

His hands are in my hair, shaking it out of its ponytail. My hand are on his neck, fingers dipping into his shirt. I murmur against us mouth and he pulls me closer.
