I'm still sitting in the same spot, I even fell asleep in this same spot. I've been too scared to move plus my feet are aching from the shards of glass in my feet

I really miss my jacket, it's freezing

I put my arms in my t-shirt, to gather more warmth, the small movement causing my feet to ache more from the glass

I hear movement from the alley causing me to freeze in terror praying that those guys from Cesar's house didn't try to come back to find me again

I see feet passing by I hold my breath, I close my eyes hoping they'll just leave when suddenly became quiet and I was too scared to open my eyes

"Hey Cesar!" Someone yelled

Causing me to open my eyes to see a guy looking at me, the sound of rocks being kicked was getting closer

More kneeled down towards me and i noticed that one of them was Cesar

"Jo!" He says

My heart starting to beat regularly relieved it was just Cesar

"Cesar?" I say

I put my arms in my sleeve and tried to crawl out and they helped me up

"I'm so sorry Jo, I know I said I was gonna be right back and" he sighed

"I'm sorry" he says

"It's okay" I say

"She can't come back to my house Oscar and the guys could be still looking for her" Cesar says

"There's no room in mine, I'm sharing a room with my Abuelita" another guy says

"She can stay with me" the only girl of this group says

" you sure?" Cesar asked

"Yes" She says

"We better get going it's getting dark" the black boy says

"Your right, I'll walk them Monse's house" Cesar's says

The two boys said their goodbyes before leaving

Cesar put my arm around his neck and keep pressure off my feet as we started walking the opposite direction
