𝖎 𝖔𝖛𝖊𝖗𝖘𝖑𝖊𝖕𝖙 𝖆𝖓𝖉 when I woke up, I first yelled at Oscar for not waking me up—then apologized for yelling at him, then I asked him to call Candice since she promised to help me get ready. I could tell he didn't want to but he did anyways, What would I do without him?
When she arrived, we got immediately started. She did my makeup and helped me put on my jewelry "woah cool tattoo" she says as she puts on my necklace, "thanks" I say, "is it a knife?" She asked, "no, it's a switchblade" I say
"does it have a meaning?" She asked, "um I had a twin brother and when he passed away, all I had left of him was his switchblade, and I um lost it, so I got the switchblade tattooed on me" I say
"Wow, that's really deep" she says, "yeah" I say turning to look at her, "I'll be in the living room, call if you need him" she says before leaving the room.
I got dressed in my dress and heels, I fixed my dress in a mirror before walking into the living room where Candice was, she smiled at me as she saw me all dressed up.

"Woah", I turn around to see Oscar, "do you like it?" I asked, "um yeah—you look really pretty" he says, I smile "thanks" I say
"I can drive you to the ceremony" Candice offered, "oh! I missed the ceremony so we're going straight to where the party is being held" I say, "alright let's go" she says
I hug Oscar bye before leaving the house with Candice, I gave her the address and she drove to Ruby's house. When she arrived I thank her before getting out the car, I followed Abuelita and some ladies inside the front door
"Oh! Look who decide to show up!" Ruby as I walk into the door and closed it behind me, "I'm sorry, I overslept" I shrugged, he opened his mouth when Abuelita called me
"Mijo, where are we gonna set up the buffet?" Abuelita asked, "On the tables in the back" Ruby says walking to Abuelita, "But they're not there" she says
"What? Well, who moved them?" Ruby says facing us
"A guy told me he needed them" Cesar stood up
"It was the fireworks guy" Monse stood up too
"We're having fireworks?" Olivia stood up
"Thank you—Thank you, everyone, for spoiling the surprise. Yes, fireworks. At 9:30" Ruby says
"Someone get his panties out of a bunch" Abuelita says making us laugh
"Take the food out"
"Hi Cesar—Nice haircut" I say
"Hey— Jo, you look nice and thanks Oscar cut it this morning" he says
"That explains why I overslept" I say before leaving Monse and Cesar to be in their own conversation
