𝖎𝖙'𝖘 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖓𝖊𝖝𝖙 day and Oscar gave me a serious lecture on what I pulled yesterday was dangerous, but when I explain everything to him he wasn't as mad as before. He told me next time just tell him.

And we made up— from the argument we had about Cesar, he understand how I feel and that Cesar is like little brother to me and I understood what he did wasn't his decision.

Right now Oscar is throwing a party, he is at the store right now but I'm sitting with Mateo as I wait for Oscar to come back, there are a lot of people here, some I recognize others I don't, I saw Tito and Candice but they kept their distance from me

"Mateo? Are you giving me the silent treatment?" I asked

"That stunt you pull j could of gotten me in trouble!— and on top that I went into the store and bought you tampons, you know how many looks I got?" he asked causing me to laugh

"that's not funny!" he says, "it's a little funny" I say laughing harder

my laughter died down when a man walked to us he greeted Mateo, but he eyed me "and who are you?" he asked, Mateo looked at him "not interested" I say taking a sip of my water

"do you know what type of party you at mami?" he asked, "take her advice man, and just walk away she ain't worth it" Mateo says

"I'll be the judge of that" the man said, I started laughing as I grab my crutches to stand up "I'll see you later Mateo, imma go see if Oscar's here" I say walking away, as I was walking away I see Ruby he was talking to a guy who was sitting on a yellow couch

"We just got here" the guy says,  "And I already wanna leave—Yo, let's dip. No one's gonna notice" Ruby says

"No, dude" he says

"Hey Ruby!" I say walking towards him, " hi jo" ruby says, "I'm surprised to see you here" he says

"Why? I live here" I say

"I just never thought of you as a-party-type girl" he says, the guy who sat next to him looked at us before speaking up "who is this?" he asked, "I'm Jo" I introduced myself

"She's boning Oscar" Ruby says, "I am not just boning him! We're dating" I say, "same thing" ruby says as the guy next to laughs

"I've known him since high school, he's not the dating type"  he says, "you've known him since high school and this is the first time I'm hearing about you" I say which took him back by surprise

"no need to get upset I'm was just stating facts" he says, I open my mouth to speak up when Oscar walked over to us and spoke before me

"having a good time?" Oscar asked giving ruby and the guy a shot glass, "Honestly..." Ruby starts but the other day cuts him as he stood "The best... time" he says as he takes the shot glass from Oscar

Oscar wrapped his arm around me

"Encima" Oscar say

"abajo"

"Hacia el centro" Oscar says

"Y dentro"

they clicked their glasses together before downing the shot at the same time before looking down at Ruby "I prefer to sip" he says

"Oh! Mario this is Jo"  Oscar says

I pursed towards him as he looked at me before anyone spoke up again there was bark making all of us look in the same direction to see Coco, she ran towards us and jumped on Mario "woah!" He says stumbling back

"No! Coco— come here!" I clapped at her, she came to me as I bend to my pet her she licked my face "when did you get dog?" Mario asked

"It's not mine—that's Jo's dog" Oscar says

"Oh!—so this is serious?" Mario asked as I stood back up Oscar's help "What's serious?" I asked, he stuttered while looking between Oscar and I, I started laughing at how nervous he got "babe I'm gonna are sure coco use the bathroom before I put her back inside" I say before giving him a kiss

"be careful" he says

As I started walking away I called coco and she caught up with me

it's now night time and I'm slightly drunk after drinking couple of beers, I had went inside to get a jacket, once I got one I went back outside with everyone else, I stood by Oscar, he had his arm wrapped around me and had a beer in his other hand

"Ruby! Ruby! Ruby! Ruby!" Everyone was chanting

"What up, everybody?" Ruby slurred as he talked into a microphone

"Is Ruby drunk?" I asked

"Yup" Oscar says

"I wanna give a big shout-out to Spooky" Ruby slurred

"Spooky! Spooky! Spooky!" Everyone chanted

"Yo! I didn't wanna come tonight, But Spooky made me come" Ruby says making people laugh as they look at Oscar

"Whoa!"

"And now I feel great! Like a new man—Thank you, Spooky" Ruby slurred

"Oh! I also wanna give a shout-out to my big brother, Mario—I love you!" Ruby says

"I love you!" Mario says

"And thank you for making me an uncle in the next couple of months!" Ruby says

"You're gonna have a baby?" The girl he was with says as she pushed him away

"Yeah, I'm gonna be a dad" Mario says then the girl slaps him before walking away

"Oh!", "Damn!"

"crap!" I say

"Oh, uh...Anyways,uh, I've been in a really dark place. But tonight, yo, you guys,you've shown me the light. And I wanna give something back" Ruby says

"DJ! Spin that shit!" Ruby says

"oh no" I say as a beat starts playing and ruby starts rapping

"Yo, Prophets are Bitches!" Someone yelled

"Hey, hey—Yo, check it out! Let's go roll up on these punk-ass fools!" A guy said as he grabbed the microphone from Ruby

"Yeah!"

As everyone starting running out of the backyard "get inside!" Oscar says, and I listened, i looked to see Oscar wasn't behind me

I tried to wait for him to come home but I was way too tired
