This was kind of a vent, sorry bout that

"God damnit Cas, wake up!"
Dean pleaded, his voice hoarse and breaking. Hot tears poured out of his eyes as he stared at his best friend on the ground with burnt silhouettes as his wings.
"Don't leave me! Castiel!"
The Hunter sobbed, his tears falling and staining the Angel's trench coat. Dean was clenching onto his arm sleeves and didn't even notice that he was doing so. But he realized that he was when he felt coldness. The heat that used to radiate from Castiel disappeared, and now all that was felt was an unmoving, cold body. Feeling no warmth made Dean break.
"CAS!! PLEASE! WAKE UP!"
The sound of him screaming drowned out all the other sounds around the night. He couldn't even hear Sam saying his name.
Sam wanted to walk up to him, and morn next to him. But he only took one step to see burnt clothes on his chest.
'He died in his arms...'
Sam thought painfully, imagining how terribly depressed Dean would be if he took off his clothes and saw the scar of his former friend's wings, reminded that he was no longer present in his time.
Sam swallowed, trying to keep his throat from tightening. He stared at his brother and the angel a few feet away, not knowing what to do. He couldn't walk up to him and tell him to move, he wouldn't even budge.
He guessed he'd just wait, and see what would happen.
Seconds passed after that thought until the flutter of wings snapped Sam out of thoughts, but it didn't snap Dean out of his sobbing.
"Yo, I sensed a whole bunch of feels from more than hundreds of miles away so-...O-Oh my dad-..."
Gabriel's voice died at the end of his sentence, his eyes widening.
"N-No...No no no no no!"
He ran past Sam and Dean skidding to a halt making the gravel fly and kneeling beside his dead brother. Dean didn't even flinch.
"Oh my- holy shit-...I-I- Cas-..."
His voice sounded so small. Sam had never heard or seen him like this before. It kinda hurt. Sam could see Gabriel's eyes already clouding with tears, a single tear running down his cheeks.
"WHO DID THIS?!"
He yelled and looked up at Dean and Sam, his true voice leaking as his eyes glowed a bright blue. Again, Dean didn't even flinch. Sam struggled to find a response.
"I-I- I don't know-.."
He managed to say, realizing how shaky his voice was. He actually didn't know who did it, but Dean did. Gabriel looked directly at Dean.
"..Dean. Who. Did. It."
Dean didn't reply. He just continued staring at the dead angel, tears still pouring out but the sobbing died down. Gabriel sighed and looked down at his brother, a heartbreaking expression on his face. Sam knew the pain that the Archangel must be in at the time. He knew that losing his brother, a brother that actually cared for him, must feel. Losing Dean broke Sam terribly when he saw him die for the first time. It was probably the same with Castiel for Gabriel.
They all stood there, staring at the dead body for what seemed like hours on end. Dean, still shaking, surprisingly stood up and picked up Castiel under the arms, starting to drag him.
