~chapter seven~

{Alex's POV}

I ran.
I didn't know where I was running to till I heard water falls. I ran to the end of our pack territory. I was at the cliff we threw rouges from. It was called rouge cliff -unoriginal I know- and I knew why I ran here. I wanted to end it. I wanted it all to stop.

My parents were scared of me. My friends pitied me.
And my mate hates me; my mate.... He....

I wanted every thing to end.

{Coles POV}
Alpha Alex is at rogue cliff~ my beta danni shouted through our mind link. And hunter gave me full control. It was like he hadn't though about losing our mate and when he realised he could he just pulled back completely.

Don't approach him. Get me tranquilizers ~ I said, shifted and made my way to my mate.

When I finally made my way to the cliff danni was waiting there with the gun. I shifted back.
"Don't fire unless I say so" I ordered
"Alpha your eyes" he said.
"Did you hear me? " I asked irritated
"Yes alpha" he replied
"Good" I said and made my way to my mate who was looking down the water fall.

I saw as his body tensed when he got a wiff of my scent.
"Alex" I called softly my voice was horsy. I heard a broken whimper.
"Alex baby please... " I pleaded taking a step closer. He turned towards me when the leafs under my bare feet crunched and took a step back. One of his hind legs lost its place and he almost fell but pulled him self up.
"Don't do this baby" I begged.

I knew the others where hearing what I've said but I couldn't bring my self to care.

"Shift for me Alex... Let me take you back" I asked I saw as his stance changed and a low growl made its way from his throat. And then he launched at me.

Now~ I mind linked danni and he shot making Alex drop to my feel. With a sigh I kneeled down and picked up my mate and my way back to the pack house.

{Alex's POV}
I was just about to do it when his scent hit me.
Tea and sandalwood

Two things I despised now.

He tried talking to me. Trying to pull me away from the ledge. He made me like this... Its not like he wanted to help.

I growled when I heard him step closer.
"Shift for me Alex... Let me take you back" he asked and I saw red. He wanted to take me back? To use me again? He had no sense of shame. I wanted him dead... I didn't think it through before launching at him. Then next thing I know something hit my side and I fell to the ground my vision blurting... NO!
