I hate my alpha

~chapter four~

{Alex's POV}
It had been a week and I had refused to shift back. My parents had been called that night and told about my situation. They came to see me and tried to talk to me through the mind link but I had blocked everyone out.

I was just dead in the inside all that hope of finding my mate was what kept me living. It was what had made me get up in the morning. After what happened every day I hoped I die in my sleep and every morning I cursed at my existence.

Thankfully Cole hadn't come to see me in the week I spent at the infirmary. On the other hand my parents and Ben were beside me every day.

I saw the look, the pitty in there eyes. I was sure blain had told them about the bite on my neck. Thankfully the sent had worn off by the time I got to the infirmary so they still didn't know who gave me the bite and I was glad.

I had tried talking to max, my wolf but he was more hurt that me. He was awfully quiet almost like he wasn't there any more. That scared me I couldn't lose max.

{Coles pov}
After my talk with hunter he had agreed to give me some control but he never said when. I could feel the pain my mate was in. I had heard the pack talking that he had refused to shift back. The elders were worried that he was going rogue for some reason.

I wanted to scream that I had cause it. That it was all my fault but I couldn't hunter wouldn't let me.  A week after that night I headed to the infirmary a few hours after dusk. I had gotten back after a good run and hunter was relaxed.

When the infirmary was in earshot I heard whimpers and the sent of fear clouded my senses. He knew I was coming and my mate was terrified. Hunter growled in annoyance but I walked in.

My beautiful mate was under the bed with his had and Ben trying to coax him out while his mom stood at the door with teary eyes.

"Whats going on? " hunter asked
"Alpha" his mom said surprised and then bared there necks in submission.
"His hurt and won't come out from under the bed " Ben explained.
"Leave" hunter and I growled at the same time.
"But alpha... " his mom started
"I said LEAVE" hunter growled a bit louder and I heard a pained whine from under the bed.  They left slowly looking back at the pup under the bed. Finally it was me and him.
