{Coles POV}
I heard as alex's breathing slowly even out. His heart beat ringing in my ears as be slept peacefully. His sent. The moon goddess had out done her self on this one. His sent was perfect.
Oranges and mint.
Not two things that people normally think of together but it was divine. The only problem was because of me.... And what I had done, he doesn't trust me enough to shift back. But he did talk to me today which had me in an ecstatic mood. I carefully picked up my furry mate - which let me tell you wasn't easy, he wasn't heavy but since he was sleeping over me i had a hard time picking him up- and carried him to the bed. I gently placed him on it and covered him in the sheets to the best of my abilities.
I stood there and looked at my beautiful white wolf mate. With a sigh I decide to take a shower. I striped and got in standing in the cold shower. My thoughts started racing seeing him standing at the cliff had me more scared that I had ever been in my life. I needed to protect him. Even from me... Even from hunter.
After finishing up my shower I stood in front of the bed room mirror and stared at my clouded reflection. My heart started racing when my eyes flickered red.
Not yet~ I growled at hunter
He didn't reply he just pushed making my eyes flickered red and back to my natural green. I tried to fight him but after a few minutes of flickering eyes and a terrible migraine hunter was back in control and I was yet again shoved to the back or my mind.
