[Alex's POV]
I waited in stance that could help be might off or run from what ever was behind the bushes. Just then I heard a roar and I saw a big bear jump into my line of sight. Truthfully the thing was bigger that three of the biggest wolfs we had in the pack. I knew I couldn't fight it off but I was tired of running so I stood my ground. The bear got on its hind legs and roared before charging at me. I jumped and bit down on its neck. It roared louder and threw me off of it. I fell against a tree. I released a pained moan but got up and charged at it again. The bear clawed at my back and I was thrown of it again.
Alex~ called a familiar voice in my head
Run~ I growled back at him
Im not leaving with out you~ he replied slowly approaching the bear out of its line of sight
We can't beat it. RUN! ~ I said angrily
I'd rather die with you~ he said and launched at it. When the bear raised his claw I howled and jumped on it. The bear fell and we jumped off it and started circling around it slowly. But the bear got up angrier that before. It clawed and bit with out percussion. But one of its attacks hit Cole he whimpered and fell. But he didn't get up and blood pooled around him. I panicked.
HELP THE ALPHA IS DOWN! ~ I sent out a pack wide link and stood protectively over the unconscious alphas body. I was brushed and very tiered. Every move I made hurted but warriors came before I passed out.
They knocked out the bear and restrained it and then took the alpha to the infirmary and I followed behind hoping he was still alive.
