[Alex's POV]
I run out of the woods and shifted back before putting on the sweatpants that I left on our porch. I walked into our house and walked into the kitchen. I smiled at the sight of my 4 month pregnant mate cooking.
"You look beautiful " I said startling him
"I didn't hear you. " he said gasping. I chuckled and hugged him.
"How are you feeling? "I asked softly
"Weird" he stated bluntly I chuckled and hugged him tighter
"One 5 more months to go love and you'll be able to go on runs with us again" I said kissing his forehead.
"Next time your getting pregnant " he said almost in a whine. I chuckled and kissed his cheek.
"Next time? " I asked
"We're not stopping at one right? " he asked almost horrified
"No? " i said confused
"I dont want our baby to be lonely" he said making me smile
"Then we'll give him or her a sibling" I stated he smiled back and kissed me.
"When did you get so big? "He asked squeezing my biceps. I chuckled and picked him up.
"When you got all round and beautiful with my pup" I replied and took him to the couch where we cuddled and talked for the rest if the night.
I might not have gotten the mate I wished for but I certainly got the mate I needed. He was my every thing now. My better half and my family.
