Lucy's POV:

I watched them play a few songs and realized that John glanced at me every now and then. I felt unwell when he behaved so, but I didn't say anything.

After an hour Paul's brother entered the room where the boys were rehearsing.

"Good afternoon. There's cake and tea in the kitchen. Would you like to have some?" He asked.

George nodded immediately and stood up, leaving his guitar on a couch. Paul and Stuart followed their fellow. Only John and I didn't go to have teatime.

Frankly stated, I had felt better when the others were with us. What was it that made the moments with John so uncomfortable?

There was no time to think about that because John had put his guitar aside and went over to me, taking a seat beside me.

The older man slightly poked my arm after I had ignored him for a few minutes.

" 'Ey, do you talk?"

He seemed bothered and I blushed when I faced him.

"Uh... yeah. I'm sorry.." I stuttered shyly, which caused him to chuckle.

I wish I went to the kitchen with Stu, Paul and George. Now I'm sitting here with this impolite teddyboy.

I frowned while I was thinking that and John noticed it.

"What's up, luv? Don't you like sitting here with me?"

He laughed about his own words, a dirty and sarcastic laughter.

I trembled a little bit. "Yes, I do. It's nice actually."

John probably knew I didn't tell the truth, but I didn't care. I only wanted to leave that place and especially that man.

"I'm not feeling good, I have a bad headache, you know? Please tell Stu that I'm at home" With those words I got up and quickly left Paul’s house, shutting the door behind me.

For a short while I leaned against the front door and breathed the fresh air.

Finally, I was saved from that man.

A small smile appeared on my face and I walked home.
