Chapter 17

Stu's POV:

These three words were a huge shock for me.

Lucy and John have an affair?! My Lucy, who always promised me to be true is in an affair with my best friend?!
Maybe it's another girl named Lucy...

No, it is my girl.. The handwriting belongs to my girlfriend..

I quickly put the letter back into John's jeans pocket and sat on Pete's bed, staring at the wall across from me.

Why? Why it had to happen to me?

My mood for going out was completely gone. All I wanted to do now was sleeping.

I lied in my bed and after a while I finally fell asleep.

~two hours later~

I woke up as I heard voices. John was home and obviously talking with Paul about the upcoming gig.

Half an hour passed by before Paul left the room to go pee or whatever. I sat up on the bed, suddenly feeling very angry.

"John!"

"Yeah?" John, who was on the bed under me, looked up.

For a moment, I thought about starting with a slightly different topic before coming to the point. But in the last second I changed my mind.

"You have an affair with Lucy."

He looked up at me for one or two seconds, then his view got ashamed and he turned his head down, looking at the floor now.

"No, Stu. I don't, why should I?"

I could tell he didn't tell me the truth and that wasn't really cheering me up.

"John! I know exactly that you have an affair with Lucy!! I found that certain letter of hers in your jeans! Don't tell me now, it wasn't her!"

John stayed silent and I jumped off my bed.

"You're a fucking liar! And I always thought you were my friend, but I was obviously wrong.. A friend would never steal your girlfriend! I don't ever wanna see you again, Lennon!"

I almost screamed the last words and stuffed my clothes and other important things in my suitcase, then stormed out of the chamber, out of the Bambi cinema, where the little chamber of ours was.

Luckily, I met Klaus Voorman, a good German friend, in front of the cinema. He was so kind and brought me to his home, where I could stay until the next day.
