3 PM and I'm at the Hospital.. again..

The doctor came in, "Well your ultrasound results are positive. So you and the baby are fine." Jesse and I sighed in relief that the baby was fine. "You don't have a serious concussion, it wasn't enough to damage your spine so that's good."

I breathed out and relaxing breath, "Okay, okay that's good." Jesse squeezed my hand and smiled. I looked back at the doctor who was going to walk out the room, "Wait, wait, wait!" He turned his head to look at me.

"Yes?"

"So I can Good back to work?" I asked, Jesse probably felt my sweaty hands.

He fully turned around, "Well I wouldn't recommend it, but if you do, I would want someone to be watching you at all times to be safe." I looked at Jesse with a worried face knowing that Hoppo probably wouldn't want me in the tower if one of his own has to be watched.

I gulped a hard lump, "A-alright.." Is this it? Is this when my trainee ship ends?..

Breathe Vanessa, it's going to be okay.. just breathe. I opened the office door.

"Hey Vanessa," wait.. does he not know? Did the others not tell him? I stood in silence with a lump in my throat. He just looked at me with his glasses on his nose, then straightened in his chair. "I heard what happened.." Oh shit, here it comes.. I squeezed one eye shut ready for what is about to come, "Are you and the baby alright?" He asked, I opened my eye. A shocked look played on my face.

"U-Uh Y-Yeah," I cleared my throat, "Yeah we're alright.."

"That's good. So now what did you want to tell me?"

I swallowed hard, "Uh, the doctor said that I can work but someone has to keep watch of me just in case something like this happens again someone can be there to, for example, catch me if I faint and stuff..." I tapped the floor with the top of my converses bitting the inside of my cheek.

"Well that sounds like a job the father should do." Hoppo said now continuing on writing something on his paper.

Another shocked look hit my face, "So.. your okay that one of our own has to watch me?"

"Yeah." He said not looking up from his paper.

"Your not going to end my trainee ship because of my growing belly?"

"Well no, I have to find out if your qualified to be a lifeguard still. And why would I end your traineeship? You're not in a state where your belly is to big that you have to take the remainder of your pregnancy off. Besides Jesse is fine if he's going to watch you, he's not a trainee. So he can watch you and you can continue your traineeship. I already watched you perform in the water.."

"Really?"

"Yes," My body filled with relief as I exhaled,

"So I can continue?"

He chuckled, "Yes Vanessa. You can continue."

"Oh my-thank you!" For some random reason I started to cry as I went on the other side of his desk and gave him a hug, "Thank you so much! You don't know how this feels." I pulled away sniffling. "Sorry," I chuckled as I wiped the tears away. "Hormones right?"

He chuckled, " It's quite alright, my wife and I had two kids so I know what pregnancy can do to your hormone amount of release.." He smiled making me smile. "Go on now, you still have some work to do." He said shooing me away with his hand.

I laughed, "Okay. Thanks Hoppo for the chance." I smiled wiping the last of my tears away, then exited his office, then the Pavilion.

"Why you crying?" My future husband asked, "Did you lose your traineeship?"

I sniffed, "No I didn't lose it, this-" I gestured to my wet face. "This is because of my hormones are acting all over the place."

He snorted, "Oh okay." He smiled,

"So does everyone know about the baby and that we're going to get married too?"

"No, well only Harrison that I know of...'" Jesse said scratching his head.

"Deano and Whip know too." I reminded

"Oh yeah, yeah."

"So how are we going to tell them?"

"Tell then what?"

I looked at him with narrow eyes, "That we're getting married!" I said slapping my thighs as I swung my hands down.

"Oh! Right, yeah, yeah. I don't know.."

I rolled my eyes, "Your such a goof sometimes, you know that." I said as we started walking towards the tower. He looked at me and smirked, "But every bit of you surprises me and I like it."

We got inside the tower, "Oh hia Chap!" I greeted, my smile went from ear to ear and so did his.

"Oh hey V!" He said turning in his swivel chair as Jesse and I sat down. Jesse was focusing on the water so me and Chapo could do small talk. He got nice and close to me, "I heard a rumour.." My eye widened as I gulped hard. He pulled away, "That you and Harrison are prank buds!" I sighed in relief not wanting him to know until we told all of the lifeguards. He sat back in his chair crossing his arms. "And I'm not part of it, why is that?" He frowned

"Well you can be a part of our group if ya want Chap, Harrison and I could use some ideas.." I said wiggling my eyebrows.

Chapo's simle turned into a crooked one, "Oh heck yeah! We're gonna take down Jake's team for sure."

We bit our bottom lip, "Um!" As we both highfived. "We're going to kick ass!" Chapo

"And Kerrbox is next.." I grinned and Chapo grinned the same grin.
