The next day, I went to Brooklyn and Manhattan with Amanda. While we were on the train, she told me something really eye-opening and juicy that happened last night.

"When you got up to hug Zaiden, Mark had this look on his face like 'who's this guy?!' And while you guys were talking, he kept looking at you two. That's probably why he hung around you the rest of the night up until the club", she said. In other words, Mark was jealous.

"Huh! Now that I think about it, I did see him looking at us from the corner of my eye. I didn't think it was jealousy", I said. What makes this all so funny is the fact that Zaiden is hella gay. Like he does drag and everything. And at the party, we were talking about a guy he liked. I can see why Mark was jealous. I never had the chance to talk about Zaiden with him and Zaiden is very attractive. Anyone that has seen him agrees! I laughed at the whole situation! Mark was actually jealous. He doesn't want to be with me but he doesn't want anyone else to be with me either.

After I told my mom about what Amanda said, she said, "That's probably why he left the club with some girl. He was acting out because of you." It makes sense! This whole thing was a confidence booster! He's not my man but he still got jealous. He clearly still had feelings for me!

On Sunday, I decided that it was best to delete his number from my phone. In order to get over him, I had to get rid of him in any way possible. Since I can't change classes or move my work shifts, deleting his number would be the next best thing. At 12am on Monday, I blasted Kill This Love by Blackpink and deleted his number and the selfie he took on my phone. This was goodbye, for good!
