Chapter 2: Blood Bath

The wolf creature stalked the couple of two as if they were it's prey. It moved slowly trying to circle them, the chain quietly grazing across the ground as it walked make and unpleasant noise.

"Don't come any closer!" Todoroki commanded, pushing Star back slightly with his left arm. His hand held forward just in case he would need to use his quirk on the creature.

The chain attached to the creature suddenly went tight and the creature can to a stop. Out from the darkness approached a person covered in pure black, not one bit of skin was seen. It seemed to chuckle at the little couple.

"State your business!" Todoroki said adding more fierceness then last time.

"No, why should I listen to you!" The person shouted before chuckling slowly and played with the wolf's chain. "My pet wants to play with you guys for little while. Come play with her!" said the cloaked person with another chuckle and continued to play with the silver chain in his hands.

He dropped the chain to the ground with a clank and swifty disappeared into the darkness. The wolf was free. It processed what had just happened before it turned it's head and went straight after for Star.

It snapped its giant jaws at her, but Todoroki quickly froze its mouth shut and shoved Star out of the way. The ice was no match for the powerful jaws of the creature and it broke straight through the ice, it was free once more. It quickly took the chance to take bite of Todoroki's arm. It's teeth dug into his arm and locked tight, tearing the skin and muscles underneath it. Blood continud seeped from the newly formed wound. It then took Todoroki as if he was a dog toy and threw him to a near wall. On impact he coughed up blood and clenched his damaged arm.

The wolf soon forgot about Todoroki and slowly approached it's new target, Star. She shook with pure terror and tried to cover herself with her arms. Star looked into the eyes of the creature, it was the same as she remembered them but now they were filled with confusion and hatred.

"Moon! If that's really you don't have this!" Star yelled frantically  at the approaching wolf, tears flowed down her face.

The creature flinched at the name. Something in it's eyes, a spark of blue light flashed through it's eyes. The color seemed to fizzle like that for a moment it was eyes of a whole nother being. The blue was so pure and so paralyzed in fear but it disappeared soon after it came. Ruby red eyes now watched the girl careful, waiting to attack once more.

The blood of Todoroki and other unfortunate victims still dripped from the mouth of the creature. It let a low snarl from its mouth and went for Star's exposed stomach before red flames swirled around it. It yelped in agony as it caught fire. It quickly put it out and turned towards to the source. Todoroki stood there shaking, because of how weak his state was at the moment, with his hand up blasting more fire at the beast. The creature once again took the flames but this time it seemed to be severely affected by it.

The fur of the beast was now crisp and the ends of it was still burning. It did a quick roll across the ground and went straight for Todoroki with its jaws once more. It snapped right next to his arm because he had moved it. The creature then moved doing to his left leg and bite down on it. It did the classic neck shake before it dropped him straight on the ground again. Todoroki groaned, blood dripping from his mouth and nose, staining his clothing.

The wolf had stopped completely. It had its ears perked up and was listening to something in the distance. It began to walk back towards the shadows it had come from. Right before it could disappear it dashed back over by the injured man and slashed his face and arms several more times. It was content with it's work after the job was done. It made one more snarl at the two before disappearing into the welcoming darkness.
